"The Crystal Queen" - here's a brainteaser for you guys... :)

Hi guys,

I’m just in the process of writing up the episode “The Crystal Queen” for the Episode Guide, and have a question - both the design of Queen Tartara’s palace and the uniforms of her guardsmen remind me of the look and style of a specific period of a specific country that I’ve seen before - I want to say Russia. Would you guys say this is correct, is my memory playing tricks on me, or am I getting muddled up with another country?! :slight_smile:

I know you guys are all much more educated than me (j/k! :wink: ), so any insight you’d be able to provide would be very much appreciated. Many thanks! :slight_smile:

I’d definitely agree that it has an Eastern European look to it, I never put much thought into it… I like how your mind works my friend.

Thanks for the kind words Mark! :slight_smile: Yeah that’s something that I never really noticed myself until watching the episode in a somewhat analytical way earlier today. Writing up this episodes has taught me more about ThunderCats than I ever would have dreamed possible! :wink:
