The black “prototype” Safari Joe and Tuska Warrior rifle from the mini-catalog is actualy from Raban from Dune This line was produced by LJN in 1984, and I guess they gave Tuska Warrior an Joe his weapon for the mini-catalog shoot. And Tuska ended up with a repaint of that gun. I thought everybody knew this, but as I’ve seen some customs of this “prototype” and as its also in the prototype section of this site..
I’ve been displaying a Tuska with this black gun for quite a while and it looks pretty good!
