yeah so was Thor and he even had trouble with Hulk
The Avengers was a great movie! I thought the casting was perfect and the plot wasn’t bad. I liked how the movie showcased each hero individually and gave them a chance to shine (I was afraid that the movie would end up being all about Iron Man). The only thing that bothered me with the movie was that there seemed to be a bit too much comedy at times. I am all for comic relief, but I felt that the movie should have had a more serious (but not overpowering) tone to it. It was a great movie and you should see it.
I absolutely LOVED this movie! I loved seeing the banter between the main characters. It was so thoroughly enjoyable to watch a group of strong and conflicting personalities bicker amongst each other and in the end, join forces and fight alongside one another.
I did feel as though Hawkeye and Black Widow were weaker characters. They were the only two who didn’t have their own movies and I think that hurt them a little because we know and understand the other characters better from having seen their own movies. Also Hawkeye and Black Widow didn’t have the super hero feel that the others did.
My favorite line in the movie was when Iron Man flew out after Thor when Thor showed up and took Loki from the plane. Captain America was about to head out and Black Widow said something to him about Thor being a god. I loved Captain America’s line - “Ma’am, there’s only one God and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t dress like that.” Loved it!
I can not wait for this movie to come out on DVD!
