Team Conduct and Understanding

  1. Any works contributed to the site remain the works of you the team member. However, because the site goes to some effort to create the surrounding platform, supporting text and research and because we pick up all expenses related with running the site and hosting your contributions, by submitting your work to the site you agree that ThunderCatsLair.ORG has perpetuall license to host the works that you provide us. You continue to be free to sell or share your works with other outlets however you agree that you won’t provide them to other ThunderCats fan sites as we’re undertaking this effort in order to have the best ThunderCats fan content on the net.

  2. If for some reason you decide that you don’t want to work on the site anymore you agree that we can continue to display the works that you’ve sent in to us, including works that haven’t yet been published on the site but that were received by us before you left.

  3. You’ll become an official team member of ThunderCatsLair.ORG and you’ll become a representative of the site and the team. You agree that you will follow the Code of Thundera in all matters related to site business. We agree that we will follow the Code of Thundera in all our work with you also.

  4. You’ll have access to a restricted section of the forums that only team members have access to. Because you’re in a priveleged position as a staff member I’m asking that you please respect that anything said in this section or between team members is confidential and you agree that you won’t share the private opinions or comments of team members oustide of the team area. You may or may not be friends with some of the people who work on the site or who have left the site but all the same I’m asking for your blanket discretion on anything you read in there.

  5. As a team member you automatically also become a forums moderator. There are no specific expectations for you to visit the forums or do any moderating, I’m just letting you know that your status changes on the forums and your avatar gets a small staff banner and your team title is visible. We encourage team members to engage in lively chat with forum members but as team members we have an elevated responsibility to make sure the forums are a safe, enjoyable place for fans to talk.

  6. Every two or three months I like to have a quick skype chat with the whole team to recap how things are going and talk about upcoming plans. As much as possible I’d like everyone to attend the group talk or at least have a follow up one on one with me after so I can keep everyone up to date and have a personal check in to make sure everything is going well. This takes about 20 minutes to go through my agenda and then an informal chat follows which goes on as long as you feel like.
