hey guys just picked up one of these for $30 and it freakin still works! my question is that when u pu the battery in, is hte light supposed to stay on all the time or not? mine does and i’m assuming, since there’s a button. that it’s not supposed to come on unless i press the button. i was debating on where or not messing with this or just letting it be. thoughts?

Yeah, the light is supposed to be off unless you hit the button on the handle - which means actually that your Sword of Omens doesn’t still work properly after all! 
Touch wood, even though my childhood Sword of Omens (which I finally located last year!) is really beaten-up looking, the light-up feature still works as well as the day I bought it! How many more years it’ll last though is anyone’s guess!

oh and i nocticed that one side lights up very well, like brand new and the other side isnt so bright. not sure if anyone knows why, i just figured it was the same light shining through both ends. oh and i my fiance’s cat doesnt come near me when i go for the sword anymore.
