I recently bought a Sword of Omens and the bulb wont light up. No corrosion on battery terminals, so i suspect maybe the bulb. Is there any way of opening things up without ruining the plastic? As i know these things were never meant to be opened!
And a cheeky question, if anyone has a spare sword empty box or backing card then personal message me with a price. Thanks for all your time
Not really, it’s a case of opening it up which won’t be easy. It’s best to buy a sword that already works. Unfortunately can’t help further has I’ve never opened one of these up.
This is going to sound like a stupid suggestion but when I was ten years old, I got a light up sword of omens and it wouldn’t light up. Everything was fine but the spring in the handle wasn’t making contact. So all I had to do was pull on it a little bit to stretch it out and it made contact with the battery and it lit up. Try that.
