The conquedor!!! Thankyou! I couldn’t remember his name! It would certainly make sense to have him back in this context. I also agree about the voice actors, no disrespect to lynn lypton at all but the same throaty voice for almost every female character in the OS including what was supposed to be a teenage girl was really a weak point looking back now. I’m hoping we’ll get a lot of the kittens backstory or at least some strong character development in this one.

I think I know the interview you mean. They have been extremely clever about cryptic hints when you look back. One that stands out in particular was when a question was posed to I think the writers just after the pilot aired asking about monkian and jackalman, and they replied ‘I don’t know anyone by those names.’ Very subtle, but also very blatant at the same time!
I do hope that we get more backstory with the kittens, but I think that they’ve gotten a decent amount of character development thus far. This is only going to be the eighteenth episode and the OS had 130 episodes–according to Wikipedia. 130 episodes gives you a LOT more time to explore your characters.
Hi armina skitty, welcome! what you say is very true but the OS had in comparison very little interest in character development in the same way the NS does. That was a sign of the times more than anything I think, the OS was ground breaking in a lot of ways but it still had the moral driven conventions of 1980s cartoons to contend with. So yes there were a lot of episodes but comparitively little development. The NS on the other hand is so much more complex and story driven. As for the kittens, I don’t think they’ve had all that much development really in comparison to the others anyway.but at least we know we will be getting back story with this episode thanks to an interview with the writer. I think a standalone Cheetara epuside will be coming up very soon, and that will have given each of the characters their time in the spotlight as it were. This is necessary in an ensemble show like thundercats. Then there is the intro to pumyra next saturday and bengali and lynxo at some point to look forward to!
What up and welcome. We are not going to get a preview are we. There is a reason they won’t show us a preview is because someone new will be in the episode that they don’t want us to know. I think.
The previews are only ever about a minute or two long each. You can easily have clips that don’t spoil anything big no matter what happens in the episode.
If the Cats are still stuck in the mountains maybe what’s hunting them is Snowmeow and we’ll get to see Snowman again (or vice versa and Snowmeow remembers them and stops Snowman from harming them for trespassing).
I almost think it’ll be the rest of the team training them.
