Ok so we have three ideas on what is hunting are favorite twin. One the other thundercats, two Joe, Three and I hope Vultureman. Can’t wait.
Yeah I’ll check my recordings because the last one was in the desert. 
It might turn out to be neither of those, but I at least hope it’ll be someone who appeared in the OS and not a brand new character. Would be nice to see some more familiar faces before the show ends.
I’m hoping it’s someone new. I like Vultureman and Joe but I like new additions just as much.
It’s wierd. Feels like an episode should have been there and then we would get at the end of the episode “Let’s go up in the mountains and see if we can get past this thing somehow”
Ya’ll do realize that time actually passes between episodes right? Heck they were in a desert in episode 3 and then were in a forrest in episode 4 and no one complained about that.
Anyways on another note, I gotta say… I kinda feel a bit miffed that there was a preview thread made without any previews. See the thing listed on the site and get all excited thinking they’re out and BAM! nothing.

We’ll get previews eventually, remember how long it took to get “Native Son” clips? That thread had been going since almost as soon as “Trials Part 2” ended.
Ugh, don’t remind me. I looked every hour of the day all last week for previews and there wasn’t anything until later on Friday. I’m over it (I think).
People still complained and i was one of them. More obvious this time around, now i’ve watched both episode 16 and 17. It REALLY feels like something is missing, like the arrival at the place and like i said last time, “there is no way around, we need to find some kind of passage through all this” then they go look.
As it is right now, Lion-o just finished the trials, he got his life and soul back. They were in a desert, next thing we know they are “doing something” in the mountains for what ever reason. SURE they still tell us but something still feels missing. What are they doing there? What about the stone that was supposed to be just UP from their location in trials episode one?

Yeah, it seemed kind of weird to me with the time skip. However…doesn’t it seem odd that the second DVD ends after the trials? Maybe they meant for the second part of the trials to be the original season finale? Just throwing that out there.
Not necessarily. I mean they’re travelling through third earth right? They’ll obviously come across a variety of topography and landscapes, I myself have travelled through many regions where a swamp becomes a jungle or a scorching desert becomes a freezing mountain. You are aware there are a vast variety of regions on a planet, right? A period of time may have passed in between each episode where they were simply moving from one place to the next, or would you like to see a 12 hour show of panthro driving his tank where nothing happens apart from snarf letting off a fart in the hold and everyone complains! There are unfortunately serious time constraints on a cartoon that we just have to live with. It just so happens that in the last episode they were looking for passage through a mountainous region which obviously had snow on it the higher they went. Wether its simply a random mountain they were passing through or the start of a certain snowmans kingdom or a specific third earth region remains to be seen.
As for the kittens, I think this episode may give the kittens a bit of history and depth. I hope they at least mention their ambition to find el darra and if they are staying with the cats until they find it. I also think it may explore the small amount of growth we have seen in kit over previous episodes, how she is open to a more spiritual aspect of her character (meditating with the elephants,training with cheetara, her flute magic etc), and I would like to see if this is changing the twins relationship or at least creating a new dynamic, as kat goes down a more practical technological path after emulating panthro, liono and tygra. I mean the kittens have probably got their first adult(ish) role models in the cats, and it would be good to see if that has affected them.
I also think the bad guy will be safari joe or a new incarnation of him. I mean mention hunting and the OS, and his name jumps out at you, right?
I just want to see SOME development with them. There has hardly been any at all, and if there’s plenty of room for them to have a good backstory, like Tygra’s, which I’m still praising.
Has anyone else considered that the Wily twins sorta mirror Lion-O and Tygra? Like how Kit is an eternal optimist and Kat is a little more practical and driven?

Of course they travel. But there is still a gaps. We dont know WHY they went there, WHY they need to seek for this passage. We can only assume they are searching for the stone and SOMEHOW they are stuck. But why? If one episode had showed us how they made it out of the desert, the book told them to go to to one place and the this mountain was in the way, which then explains why they are stuck and they need to find the passage.
I dont clander the show, think it’s bad or worse cause of this. For me it sjust felt like something was MISSING. I felt the same thing aabout the scenario Balgus told us about.
And also, stop being a douche. There is no reason you have to say stuff like “you know the earth has climates right” or “do you wanna watch them drive the tank”. Did you really think that was the deal? You yourself probably have seen more storydriven movies and shows which does not show EVERYTHING, but at least tells us why they go from one place to the next. Yet again we can just ASSUME what they are doing but are not told WHY. Maybe we get told later? Who knows, i just felt like SOMETHING WAS MISSING BETWEEN.
I can also safetly, say if this same thing happend during a movie, or some random other show people would notice it and mention it as i’m doing now. It’s just cause this is the “Thundercats” some people dont even see faults with the show (some people do and kudos to them). I also dont even wanna talk about this with you anymore as you dont even stand by the topic and jump around with other stuff going way off-topic talking about your travels and stuff which has nothing with the point to do, no offense but i dont care what anyone here does for a living or what happens in your life. We are here to discuss Thundercats and stuff related to it and most of the stuff in your post was just a waste of space.
The show isn’t “24”, it’s not going to show you every minute. There are gaps in time between most episodes, that’s the way every show works. That’s what fanfiction is for, isn’t it?
I assumed they had to backtrack to go back to the mountains after leaving Mumm-Ra’s pyramid. They left the tank and the book was pointing towards mountains. Though the one thing that really gets me is that I think Mumm-Ra’s pyramid should’ve been too far away to get to that fast without the tank.

I’ve never ever said anything about 24/7, i’ve given good examples which does not take much time at all which would explain things a lot better. If you read those other examples i’m sure that if the same thing happend in a movie and you dont get some kind of explanation about it you probably would think the same.
Also that’s not a way “a show works” many shows follow the characters NOT 24/7 but at least tells us, how, why, when they travel. They missed that from Thundercats Episode 16-17, quite a big one. I only mentioned it and i’m not sure why i even have to defend myself like this?
