Hi everyone,
As the exciting launch of the new ThunderCats animated series is fast approaching, a couple of fans have contacted myself and the other mods regarding the posting up of “Spoilers”. As the show (sadly) isn’t launching on the same date in every country, some fans want to wait for plot details until the show airs in their own country, to retain an element of surprise! 
Unfortunately it’s very difficult to keep spoilers off of this particular forum, as excited fans (including ourselves!) will want to discuss the events of each new episode, and speculate over what’s likely to happen next, etc.!
So, we don’t really feel that it would be right to enforce any hard-and-fast rules on this - but, having chatted about this issue, we would like to suggest the following guidelines when posting up threads containing spoilers:
- When starting a thread that contains spoilers, include the word “Spoiler” or “Spoilers” in the thread title
- When picking thread titles that may contain spoilers, perhaps use this format - instead of titling the thread (for example) “Did Grune really just sacrifice himself for Claudus?!”, maybe title it “Spoilers - Did Grune really just…”
As I say, these are intended as suggestions rather than rules - when these episodes air there will likely be many fans who want to talk about them, and the only 100% certain way of avoiding spoilers is to avoid the 2011 Cartoon Forum! 
Nevertheless, we do realise that some fans may want to come over here to report news of when the show is likely to be airing in their country, etc., and so hopefully these suggestions might help to keep those fans from finding out too much about the episodes before they get chance to see them.
Not long to go now until the new show launches everyone…is anyone else as excited as I am?!?
