I took a photography course a year or so ago and have been playing with my camera and different ideas for while. This past weekend a friend of mine asked me to do a photoshoot with his dog. We rented some studio equipment and setup at his house.
Here was the result… some work still needs to be done in photoshop but got some good stuff i reckon

The lighting worked out beautifully on it. Really brings out alot of detail in the dogs face and hair, without washing out the image or leaving a huge flare in his eyes.
What kind of camera did you use, btw?
Thanks guys… I used a Canon Digital Rebel XT and mostly used a wide angle lens on these. The lighting was helped by two rented external flashes and some daylight behind me in a makeshift studio my friend’s place.
