Hee hee, maybe they should do a sequel called “Snarf’s Moving Cats’ Lair”.
Which makes me think Studio Ghibil should do a new ThunderCats cartoon show because they’re the ones who did it first. They have the experience, not Warner Brothers.

I enjoyed the original Thundercats toon but today’s anime would be too much in my opinion. I don’t enjoy cartoons that are too anime so to speak like the new TF toon.
In the style of Miyazaki, I’d take it. Is the new TF toon even anime? I believe that’s made by a US studio.

it wouldnt be hard to stay close to the drawing and animation movement/tween/whatever style at all.
You think Rankin-Bass still has ties w/ IIzuka /Studio Ghibli ?I agree with Flame Tygra. Since anime has improved over the past 25 years, I’d love a new ThunderCats cartoon series done in that style. But I would not like seeing it so anime that the characters come off looking completely dorky.
It’s a shame because Ghibli is owned by Disney now.
Yes i noticed in Howl’s Moving Castle on the dog that looks like Snarf.
I have some of their work on DVD including a very sad one titled “Grave of the Fireflies”.
Me too, i’ve been a fan of Ghibli since 86 when i was 4 when i rented Warriors of the Wind (the infamous New World Pictures butchery of Nausicaa) and fell in love with it then when i was 11 i rented My Neighbor Totoro after seeing a TV ad with good reviews on it and great reviews from critics like Ebert and Siskel, loved it. I became a Miyazaki fan since and even had some fansub tapes in high school plus i had the dub of Kiki’s Delivery Service when i was 16 and saw Mononoke when i was 17 in theaters in it’s November 99 US release.
OMG Grave made me cry when i was 14 when i rented that.
If you get a chance KorbenDallas, check out “Spirited Away”. 
Seen it and own it, i saw it in 2002 here in US theaters and loved it. I own all of them.
Do your remembered when Nausicaa was called Warriors of the Wind in the 80’s? the butchered cut that featured Hal Smith and Leonardo the turtle and original Keneda’s dub voice Cam Clarke?

I’ve always wished we could get some interviews with the guys / gals that animated the original series.
