I was wondering whats the best way to spot fake moc’s etc. any info would be fantastic cos theres nothing worse then buying a fake

There’s a guy in New York you need to stay away from. That will help. I’m sure you’ve seen him in the “Marketplace” thread.

yeah he’s talking about that dancot, wildcard, justcotto names on eBay. He’s basically the largest most well known (around here) for fakes, people still purchase items from him unfortunately. However if you know his alernate screen names after reading these forums you can easily track on eBay his fraudulant items. you can see his feedback purchases of things like empty bubble/cards and then a sale a month later of a moc figure from that same bubbble… hmm conincidence? nope it’s not lol. or like the thing i most recently saw was him buying reproduction pumyra and tygra weapons, then selling moc pumyra and tygras. so just keep yourself educated like any consumer and if something seems to good to be true, then it is.
Keep an eye for the way his pictures look. I almost always can spot his auctions the way his pictures come out. Weird but true…oh and the way he describes his auctions is a dead giveaway. Poor, poor grammar…just check and see
