Spotlight: ThunderCats

Hi there. I don’t know if this site has been linked before, so sorry if it has. I find it interesting and the author (The Mithril Guardian) makes a really good analysis of the TCs characters, both from the original series and the 2011 reboot, with some insight on them; some of which I didn’t consider myself.

So long, The Mithril Guardian has written about Panthro, Cheetara and Tygra; don’t kow when the others will come (if ever), as (s)he seems to take his time between posts (posting about other stuff as well).

The blog is called Thoughts on the Edge of Forever, and the links to the three TC’s articles are:

I’m now caught up on the Spotlight: ThunderCats series. The Panthro, Cheetara, and Tygra spotlights were pretty well done.

Glad you liked them. The Guardina says the kittens are next, though there’s no a due time yet.

There’s no hurry. As long as Mithril Guardian is a fan of ThunderCats, they can take as much time as they want.

The Thunderkittens’ post is finally out: https://thoughtsontheedgeofforever.wordpress.com/tag/thunderkittens/

I enjoyed the post.

Not too shabby. At this point any new Thundercats attention is welcome on my front

This is great! I’m impressed with (his or her) thoughts on Panthro. S/he arrived in the same place I did on 2011 Panthro with very little overlap in reasons.

Nice! And damn thorough! I am someone for whom Snarf didn’t age well and I liked the 2011 version. However, I really like the Roar version, the omission of which I presume is unfamiliarity rather than a bias against Roar? If the latter, will you down the road be doing a revision, or is that version something you plan to pass on addressing?

I had so much fun reading about Snarf.

Sorry, I’m not author, just bringing the links over
