First of all, two things are seriously wrong with this and that gives away that he reseals quite a bit. First, the bubble is that of Tygra with Wilykit, he placed the whip where Wilykit is supposed to go. Secondly, Young Tygra was never available in Series 2 without Wilykat.
The only young version in series 2 is the one with Wilykat.

yeah the card and the bubble are really bad, he’s been putting some series 3 figures on older cards too if any of you have noticed. like i’ve seen bengali and lynx-o on cards that don’t have the blue lower right hand corner for the free mail away mummra and as many of you can prolly tell that’s definitely not correct. his **** is laughable.

Yeah, this guy needs some serious whoopin! He annoys me so much with his ebay methods. I’m surprised he’s still able to sell on the site, ebay needs to get its act together.

Cant say i find anything wrong with it. For a long time boxed Snarf plush were very rare to see. Matter of fact I snatched up one of the first that appeared on Ebay a while back. It was long rumored that it never came with the box until a few appeared. Theyre still rare to find boxed but occasionally pop up

Admittedly, I had the same thought process as 'Roar. Did the buyer not pay, could it be a knock off (as the seller is from Hong Kong) or is it possible the seller had more than one? I tend to think that the latter is the least likely option, but I’ve spent a fair amount of time looking at this picture and cannot find anything wrong with it.
Well I thought the exact thing you did, Dan, and I came in here and did a little looking at some of the board member’s Snarves (is that incorrect plural form?) and there seems to be some slight differences with both the packaging and the apperance of the toy itself in the stitching of the feet and fuzz on the face.
I am by no means an expert by any stretch of the imagination but the toy in connection with the auction I posted just looks too nice to be what the seller says it is. I am not trying to be ethnocentric but the place of origin just cries out knockoff. I really have no intention of buying it I just was curious as to what the opinion of greater minds would be.
I would be interested in picking up a plush Snarf, but I am vehemently against knock offs, reseals, repros or anything along that line (I am very anti all the repro Pumyra slings and Tygra whips on eBay and certain shady sellers with reprehensible sales practices).
MannyC, I know you’ve had your fair amount of experiences with plush Snarfs. Can you please take a look at 'Roar’s link and let everyone know if it seems legit or not?

Looking at the Snarf from a picture and tell if its fake or not can be a daunting task, if not impossible however I can tell you that it does look legit…box and everything. Snarf plush are showing up more now than ever before. It took me a few years to find one but now it seems that every few months one pops up.
It could be that the seller had 2 of them or it could be that the original buyer never paid or the seller may try to scam money being that it sold for so much.Nowadays with Ebay is riskier and riskier so due your own DD (due diligence) and look at the sellers feedback. Hong Kong and Chinese sellers have always looked fishy in my eyes but thats just me.
Bottom line is that it looks legit to me…I should know since Ive owned 2 of them at once but there’s always people out there that can make some good fakes on toys
Thanks, Manny. I think I’m going to steer clear of this one. I’m going to trust my gut (which has definitely had its fair share of being wrong). I still have my fingers crossed to find a plush Snarf that doesn’t break the bank one of these days, though!
Take it for whatever it’s worth, but there is a MIB Plush Snarf listed on Ebay Australia, and it is also being sold by a seller out of Hong Kong. (Different seller name)
While I am not anywhere near close to throwing out any red flags, if we start seeing Plush Snarf’s popping up more often all coming out of Honk Kong we should take care when bidding.
