Has anyone been getting junk mail through their site email address? I’ve been getting a lot of spam…probably like 30-50 emails a day! Do you guys think we should go with an email form on the page instead of putting our actual email addresses?
I was about to post about this as well. I too have been getting spam emails, though not as many as you have Manny!:shock:
I’ve been getting around 5 or 6 a day I’d say.
If the email form is pretty easy to set up, then yes please do that. For the moment I’ve removed my TCL.org email from Outlook Express and I plan on checking my email through the webmail option for the time being.
Anyway if the email form is easy to sort then I’d say go for it.

My only reservation about an e-mail form is whether the e-mail in question would end up going to the correct person - would all the e-mails go to Manny who would then have to redistribute them, or how would it work? 
I’ve never had any junkmails on my TCL e-mail, but that may be because (as I referenced in another thread) I’ve discovered the e-mail address shown for me on the Team page is incorrect. It should read he-fan@thundercatslair.org, not chris@thundercatslair.org .
That said, between my various e-mail addresses I would say I get an average of 75 - 100 spam e-mails per day, so I’m actually pretty used to them and they don’t really bother me. I guess you could say I’m de-sensitised to them!

Oh, don’t get me wrong! I’m used to them as well, but only on my blackiecats@fsmail.net email account (as I get around 80-100 per day) but that’s the email address I always use to sign up to message boards, offers and anything else that is accessible by any average joe on the internet.
Then my personal email address at NTL is 99% spam free. If you know my NTL email address then your a trusted friend. Believe me, I don’t give out my NTL email to many people!
I get like 1 or 2 a day if that
