Manny, how are the coin sales going? You liking what’s happening to the recent dip in the price of gold? I’m about to buy some silver coins, any tips? I’m not interested in the numesmatic value I just like the idea of the real store of value.

I just started watching Tosh.0 yesterday and I couldn’t stop, canceled my Saturday evening plans and stayed home to watch every damn episode. It is epically awesome… holy crap its so good.

Hey Mark, things are going great for me, apart from my health, LOL! :wink: I’m actually feeling a lot better than I was and managed to do my gig last night. This time of year is always my busiest with the music, as there are outdoor music festivals, pubs and other venues holding barbecues that they want live music for, etc. :slight_smile:

One exciting thing that’s happened to me lately is that my friend Martin Griffiths who is a professional artist has been in touch with me - Martin is generally regarded as the definitive artist to work “in house” on Marvel UK’s ThunderCats comic, which is how I know him, if you check out the comic section of this site you’ll see that he did an interview with me for here! :slight_smile: Anyway, Martin is currently working on a DVD cover for the UK DVD release of the 1990s X-Men animated series, and has told me that when he’s finished it I can have the original b&w pen-and-ink artwork as a present - how cool is that?! :slight_smile:

Oh yes, and as well as the music I’ve also branched out into the field of web design, only as a hobby at the moment but I’m really enjoying it - re-built a website for a friend of mine to his exact specifications, check out www.gregharpermusic.com ! :slight_smile:

Been trying to promote my bluegrass band’s new CD which was released a couple of months ago, gearing up to do a radio interview to help promote it, not sure when the interview is due to happen yet, but shouldn’t be long. Went to see Bon Jovi in concert about a month ago, that was pretty damn awesome! :slight_smile:

The Willows (the club I run) is going well, approaching an advance ticket sell-out for our gig this Wednesday! :slight_smile: Check out www.willowsfolkclub.org and yes, you guessed it, that’s yet another website that I’ve built! :wink: (Although if you look “under the hood”, the coding is pretty lousy, I’ve learned a lot since then and need to re-build it.)

Dude your web skills have certainly taken a quantum leap forward, that is mightily impressive. My only critique is that you should have put your name on that site somewhere as the designer so that others could find you if they wanted to hire you for your skills. I think MannyF has a new partner in crime available for the relaunch of the website if he wants one.

Thanks so much for the kind words, my friend - yeah, I’ve gotten really serious about website design in the past year or so and (with apols for the immodesty) feel I have developed a real knack for it! :slight_smile:

If you want the honest truth, the reason I didn’t put my name on there as the designer is because I did it as a “cash in hand, no questions asked” cheap job - what the taxman doesn’t know about, he won’t grieve over, LOL! :wink: :smiley:

The new site is going to be coded in PHP which I’m still a total novice at - but, I do know a lot about CSS which as I understand it is how the site will be styled, so may be able to help him out there if he needs it! :slight_smile:
