If you’re not a fan of the newSnarf, don’t post in this thread. It’s a fan thread in the 2011 series forum for the newSnarf, so let’s allow only those who are a fan of this newSnarf post here. If you’re a fan of the oldSnarf but not a fan of the new one, just stay out of the thread and let those who like the newSnarf talk about that character.
Liking the newSnarf doesn’t mean you have to like everything about that character, it’s okay to post some negative comments as well, but in this thread it should be by people who overall like the newSnarf.
Let’s keep the fan threads debate free. If one person says something they don’t like about the newSnarf that another person would like to debate or vice versa, then you need to debate it in another thread about that particular topic.

One thing I’ve noticed about Snarf in the new series - he seems to have a thing for Wilykit’s head. In “Song of the Petalars” when they come upon the Petalars for the first time, Snarf is watching perched on top of Kit’s head. In “Journey to the Tower of Omens,” after accidentally stumbling upon the entrance to the tower, he jumps down and lands on Kit’s head.
I’ll admit it. I did not like Snarf in the orignal series because I found him too annoying but I like this version of Snarf alot more. Maybe it’s because he doesn’t talk in an annoying voice and constantly say “snarf snarf”. This new version of snarf still says snarf alot but he’s more like a smart animal that uses the word ‘snarf’ much like cats ‘meow’ which is alot less annoying.
I like snarf a lot in this version. He is actually cute. I thought it was adorable when he actually says no, when lion-o accepted the final duel in the last episode
I actually like 'em both but still prefer the old neurotic annoying nursemaid Snarf better. Maybe the new one will grow on me more though. He’s cute but a little too Pikachu for my tastes.
I miss the old Snarf. I admit it, I prefer the talking, goofy, bumbling nurse-nanny Snarf. I mean, I don’t hate the new snarf, I appreciate it for what it is, but still. I miss the old Snarf.
I’ve been meaning to make a Snarf fan thread myself. Glad one was made. I too enjoyed the old Snarf, to an extent. There were certainly times that he became annoying or used as an Deus ex machina.
The new Snarf is being used perfectly in the ns. The creators are retaining many the his old attributes that where used in the os such as being Lion-O’s companion, and some comic relief. So far so good. All I ask is that please, please don’t make his tail light-up when the sword of omens signals the Thundercats.
That would be really weird with the new Snarf. Can you imagine Snarf, trapped inside Panthro’s body - Panthro landing on Wilykit’s head or jumping on Lion-O like in The Petalars. That could be really, really bad. :eek:
