I never watched The Smurfs as a kid, they never really appealed to me. But I decided to go see the movie and I loved it! It had me laughing out loud and I don’t laugh out loud very easily. The Smurfs were all too adorable! Seriously, they could come live with me. 
I especially loved Gutsy Smurf who was a new character added for the movie.
I recommend ya’ll go see it if you haven’t already.

I’m not sure why they needed to add Gutsy. I liked him and all, but one of the other smurfs, Hefty or someone could have easily filled in.
Overall I really enjoyed this movie. I took my nephew to see it and he liked it as well. 
Because they needed his way cool Scottish accent! Sorry, I’m a sucker for accents.
I just simply lol’d at the Smurfs cause they made no sense.
How they made a movie out of that..it’s beyon- oh wait, no, it’s not beyond me. A. Quick. Buck.
It’s basically them just running around NYC most of the time..yay. No real plot.. I can’t comprehend how people are obessesing over this.
There’s a plot. They’re trying to get back home. Although I did think the ending a bit dumb - a Statue of Liberty using Smurfette for the statue? Yeah…
