I’ve seen revivals of the characters of the 1980s series into the 2011 series and now I was just wondering if these characters should appear as well:
Willa,Nayda and the warrior maidens(look more nymph like?!?)
The Lunatacs
Mandora(an astronaut from OUR earth,falls in love with Lion-O?)
Mumm-Rana(a definite must!)
I’ll let the rest of you ponder if other characters from the 1980s series should appear on the new series..!
I would love to see all of those you mentioned, with the exception of Mumm-rana. Her character was beyond stupid. “Transform this gentle form…to Mumm-rana..the EVER GOOD…?!” You’ve got to be kidding me! 
Quick-Pick would be nice too.

Would be cool. But IMO.. They should “stop relying” on the old characters and make some themselves/continue with that.
They should make this series as much as their own as they can, not just turn everybody from the old show into something new.
Of that list:
The Warrior Maidens: I wouldn’t mind seeing them, though it’d be very weird to have actual human characters on a show that thus far has been all anthropomorphic animals, robots, and monsters.
The Lunatacs: I’m not dying to see them as I’m really enjoying their handling of The Mutants right now and I’d much rather get Vultureman first. But if they could come up with a cool way to introduce The Lunatacs (which to throw praise to the series, they’ve done a great job of handling the classic characters thus far) then I would be fine with it.
Mandora: I loved Mandora in the original series, but I’m not sure if she’d fit with this new one. Like The Maidens (and Hachiman), she’s Human, so it’d be weird to fit her in. It’d be interesting to see them try, but once again, I could live with out her. If we’re throwing T-Cat allies out there, I’d really like to see their take on Snowman
Mumm-Rana = Absolutely not. I hated the idea of a female Mumm-Ra good guy back in the 80s. There is no way I am going to like it now.
Yeah, any humans in the new series would just throw it all off to me, unless they find a really intelligent way to incorporate them.
I agree. It would be kind of be werid to have humans in the new series. To me the new 3rd earth races or species feels more like magical creatures, mutants, monsters, and animals.
The lunatacs. Maybe this time there hyena.
It would be interesting if they made a new Thundercat.

Yeah, like The Duelist, give them a human, but not totally human look. Have them be of a certain color. Maybe red(a little nod to Dejah Thoris;)).

I have to say I am not a big fan of Mumm-Rana or Mandora being in the new series. Mandora just doesnt seem to fit in this series to me being an intergalactic cop essentially. Mumm-Rana I just always felt like was a cheap rip-off of Mumm-ra…
I would like to see new characters. I would even be open to a new Thundercat/Thundarian, but I would like to see more of Pumyra/Lynxo and have Bengali introduced first!
Willa herself was already very tan, just redden 'em up a little bit, put points on their ears, maybe some funky eyebrows and they won’t look any more out of place than anyone else we’ve seen in the series.
The one thing I never understood about the Warrior Maidens is how their society survives if there are no men whatsoever, how does that work exactly?

I’d be fine with both the Warrior Maidens and Mandora. Don’t want Mumm-Rana.
I don’t think the Warrior Maidens really have to be human. There have been plenty of humanoid species on this version of Third Earth that look similar to humans without being animals (i.e. the wood forgers, the duelist, etc).
Mandora could work simply because she was never from Third Earth in the first place. If they ever get into more of the space travel stuff she could easily fit in. And honestly I would love an adaptation of the story where the prisoners escaped and rampaged on Third Earth and I’d love to see Quickpick again.
Yeah, it’s the same thing I wonder with The Amazons on Wonder Woman’s Paradise Island.
I agree a new Thundercat would be interesting but later after all the old ones get more developement.
Just because we haven’t seen humans doesn’t mean they do not exist after all none of the animal races are from third earth originally. Besides Mandra is easy to add since she is an interlactic police officer, so she(and possibly the Silverhawks) could be hunting dangerous criminals. These criminals could have been accidently released by Lion-o(or the twins) like in the original. The maidens could be be originally from third earth or like the animals, just alien refugees.

mandora: totally loved her so 100% yes, but I believe I read somewhere that she was NOT gonna be in the show now (probably because they are leaving out the whole space aspect, it’s all just on the one planet now)
mumm-rana: eh tbh I don’t even remember her, and I’ve seen all the episodes, that is telling to me she must’ve been forgettably bad (to me)
