How was it described at Wondercon? And do you know what these different traits will be? (Hopefully none of them feel the need to mark their terriotry which is a cat trait.)
When I was little I used to complain that they didn’t have tails. Looking back now, how retarted of me to think that.
I liked the explanation, or they idea behind it from Wondercon. I can see some more stuck up founding Thunderians seeing tailed Thunderias as lesser beings. Beings closer to the common animals.
Maybe as they evolved features became less feline and the tails, du-claws, and whiskers were evolved out of them. So maybe the cats with the tails still are…not to say lesser but more primal and feral cats then the more sleeker sophisticated ones. Like the nobles. Blood lines would be kept pure just like with any cat breeding to keep certain traits and rid others, while with the commoners they can mate with whomever they want and get all the diffrent features (think cats with polyd paws and stubbed tails)
I personaly do not like the tails. Cats tails are for balance and a way to communicate. Thundercats really dont have a need for them. If anything they would be a hinderance in battle…while sitting…and everything.

That was the only one specified. They mentioned that we may see them hiss or other things like that here and there though.
I just got to the last season of Thundercats and its pretty neat how the early thunderrians not only looked much more cat like (like the new show) but they also had tails. I’m sure this is old news to everyone else but I had never seen those episodes. So since the new cartoon Thunderrians already lost their tales for the most part does that mean that after a few more centuries of evolution they’ll eventually look like humans with cat make up like the original show ? 
Heck maybe the new show is a prequel, it could work after all the original show retconned stuff all the time about how pretty much everyone had some connection to third earth even though at first they tried to treat it like no one knew where the heck they were.
