Yeah it was on the Box art shown at Toy Fair. The twins both seem to have tails on them.

Eerggg! Those are tails? From what cat? It looks more like a plume or fox tail. And the angle the tails are at looks like they are flagging for… Welll, they’re too young for that in my book. Anyway tese have to be from model sheet drawings. In the trailer they look much better.
In the old series (3rd season) I believe the Guardians had tails didn’t they?

The big cats (Lion-o, Tygra, Cheetara, Panthro) having tails, no; The Little cats (Wilykit and Wilykat) having tails, yes! I think it diffrentiates the two smaller cats as a supspecies from thier larger thunderian cousins. And as the Thunderkittens move around a lot/ do a bunch of acrobatics, it makes sense to have tails for balance. I do agree they’d look stupid on the big cats, though.
Now while i do think they look stupid. What you say makes sense.

also Grune’s ears are a LOT bigger than the other Thundarians. Speaking of Grune I’m extremely glad they didn’t give him the dog nose this time around. I never understood why some Thundarians had noses like that and others didn’t.

Wow, not quite was I picturing in my head for tails on them. Makes 'em look part Persian/Himalayan. And so not right.
I don’t mind the tails. These are anthromorphic cats aren’t they? And judging by the look things, this seems to be post-apocalyptic Earth so considering the tails and footwear especially judging by the fact Claudius mentioned “ancestors”, this makes sense.
Wilykit has a tail? Besides her ponytail? Where is a picture of this? That seems so odd.
I vote no, but for the reason of it being impractical. They sit like people, I think a tail would be uncomfortable and in the way. Not to mention if it got stepped on. Ouch.

Honestly I’m not too keen on the idea of tails simply because none of the other Thundercats have any. That being said it’s not a big enough deal to me that I would rage at the screen or anything while I’m watching. lol
I think the way it was described at Wondercon had it make sense. Before that it was puzzling, but now that we know different breeds of cats will have different traits, It makes a lot more sense.
