Simple enough thread, Which series did you prefer?
Personally as a UK fan series 1 will always be my original Thundercats experience. But 2 has some really good episodes as well.

I am going to say season 1 is the best from now having finished the three boxsets. I know I have yet to see 31 episodes but for now Season 1. Don’t get me wrong Season 2 has some great episodes, Thundercats HO! is superb, Runaways is very good, Thundercubs is awesome as are some of the later ones on the set. Season 1 (more specifically Season 1 Part 1) is better because it relies less on Mumm-Ra to be the stock villian which is strange for the first half of a first season as you expect them to milk the main villian for all he has got, like Filmation did with the first half of HE-Mans first season and then shifted to other villians. Thundercats has little of Mumm-Ra then as soon as you hit S1V2 Mumm-Ra is all over the place

Season 1 had the better writing and season 2 had the better animation IMO - both are really good for different reasons, but overall I think season 1 was the strongest!

ok well for me i think there were better eps in season 1 at least i think so, but i feel the animation in season 2 was alot better
