What do you guys think? If we can help push the discussion in each of these forums at least once a week, I think it would be a good idea. I’ve received some PMs requesting that we separate cartoon and movie discussion…so may be we could test it out? I can post a new thread in the movie forum once a week just to keep things active…and may be Chris can do the same with a comics forum?

I definitely think we should create a new forum devoted to the movie - now that we know that the “new ThunderCats series” is going to be a movie rather than an animated series, the Cartoon forum is not necessarily the most appropriate place to have threads about that - which is to say, is not where someone would necessarily think to look for a thread about the movie! 
In terms of the Cartoon and Comics becoming separate - I’ve no problems with this per se, my biggest negative would be that the Cartoon Forum would get roughly the same amount of acitivity as it does now, whereas a Comic forum would be 95% dead. Unfortunately it’s been a few years since DC/Wildstorm last published a ThunderCats comic, and with ThunderFandom having dissected all of those, there’s not a hell of a lot else left to talk about! 
I’d be willing to bet that when the new movie comes out there will be at least a handful of comics released to accompany it, in which case a Comics Forum would become necessary - right now, I’m not sure if there’s enough new comics interest to necessitate it. However, I’m happy to go along with whatever you decide, and do my best to keep things as active as I can!

Yeah you might be right in regards to the comics discussion. May be we can keep it with the cartoon discussion. It doesn’t look as though the two topics conflict with each other anyways.
Also, what do you guys think about keeping the Mature Fan Fiction forum? I know there aren’t any other posts with the exception of Purrsia…not sure what you guys want to do with it.

For myself I’d say keep it for the time being and see what develops - it might look like a bit of a kick in the teeth to Angie after all the (albeit fruitless) effort she put into promoting it on our behalf. At this stage of the game I don’t really think it’s doing any harm leaving it there - the only thing I might be tempted to do (assuming this hasn’t been done already) is make it “members only”, i.e. you have to be a registered member of the forums to access that area.

Sounds good. I rearranged it though. Seeing as it doesn’t have very much activity, I switched it with the Customs Forum. I think it is a private forum, from what I know.
Hopefully that’s okay.
