Any guesses as to who we might see in the next thirteen? I’m going to go out and say definitely jackalman, and probably monkian.
Andddddd, do you think we will ever see lunatacs in this show, not necessarily this next season?
Yeah, the mutants will probably be introduced in season 2. Monkian, Vultureman and Jackalman (all under different names, of course) will join Slithe and Mumm-Ra. It’s going to be a blast.
I also think that, with Gruneappparently gone (at least for the moment), the next episode “New Alliances” will show Mumm-Ra and Slithe allying with other animal species, like jackals and monkeys.
That ep might even be a homage to the OS “Unholly Alliance” ep.
I just hope villains get a larger role in the next season than the one they’ve got so far.
Well Jackalman at least has to be coming soon as pictures of his character model have leaked. Vultureman & Monkian are most likely in the works as well.
Also, one of the Season 2 titles had “Ratilla” in the name, so the Rat people will probably make an appearance as well.
We’ve seen clips of teh Vultures and Monkeys in previous eps, remember? I think they both were shown in “Legacy” (although the Birds -vultures?- could have been shown in the flashback in “Journey to the Tower of Omens”, when we first saw Tygus as well).
The Jackals/Dogs most likely. And as mentioned, the Rats based on the Ratilla title.
Definetly hoping Lion O becomes one. Heros going dark always make great villains and interesting stories.
So far, we already know that Kayner is the name of the new Jackal character. What do you think will be the names of the monkey and vulture ones?
Talon would be a good name for the vulture. Not sure about the monkey.
How about Ape-x for monkian??
Maybe Kerchak might work? Extra points for anyone who knows what story I’m referring to.

LOL, I used to watch the Filmation version of Tarzan when I was a kid.
Stormbringer, you were right and Disney was very good with their adaptation.
The only names that are coming to my head for Monkian is “Simeon”, a play on the word “Simian”, or make him a physical brute character with a guttural name like “Ungar” or “Dokan”. I’m not the best with coming up with names though, so tell me what you guys think.
Definately see the other mutants showing up. Also would love to see a reinvision of the Lunatics.
And it took me 13 to realize what was really missing from the show. Let’s see Mumm-Mutt! Snarf needs a rival.
