Another reason to disappoint me even further lol! Let’s start a petition for Silverhawks series to WB! 
I thought for sure that the TigerSharks and SilverHawks would be on the show.
as ive been reading the comments i can see that there are a lot of mixed feelings…instead of being exited about what couldve been…it seems like people are not too thrilled about what was planned. i really think that fans should have been posting how sorry they were a second season wasnt made…and how good the story was going to get…instead ive read some comments in which fans are almost thankful these story lines didnt get made…including myself…its pretty clear to me why this show failed…besides the poor marketing from the cn and bandai…the show was just not that good…strange story lines…heroes made to look a little shady …little parallelism to the os…anyways pumyra turning into a bug??? lynx o decapitated…this is not Thundercats…this is some other crazy cartoon…so many missed opportunities…
So it can be advertised awfully, have a crappy time slot, and ultimately get canceled after its first season? Count me out.
And boy is this fandom obsessed with petitions.
I think it shows how badly WB have handled Thundercats more than anything…but by now I would have thought people on here would have realised that WB do not care about petitions.
Let’s not burn a bridge here, I believe they hear us! I recall them looking for a team to do a movie while the new series was airing.
WB should focus on who to give it to next movie/ tv series wise to take this franchise to another level (but hopefully give it a better marketing point of view)
A few months ago I posted a link about WB having a new team marketing wise and or new direction a few , so hopefully that business move should help!
Aw darn, it’d have been amazing seeing Silverhawks and Tigersharks come together in one show! I wanted to see some sort of a Mon-star and Mumm-Ra team-up against the heroes or any combination of it. Sad we won’t get it now.
Thundercats need to be retold or continued!

I can say onething that i believe thundercats will be back on and some activity is happening. can’t say anything more than that now as thats all i know.

Maybe they do an animated movie or a graphic novel.

You must be new here, or just completely ignorant. Either way, they wouldn’t announce the entire plot of the next season if they were actually going to do it. There’d be no point in that. Add that to the numerous other reasons the show can’t and won’t continue and you have a big pile of truth.
Note that he said “thundercats” and not thundercats 2011. EDIT: After reading back on the thread that was not his idea.
Of course Thundercats will be back sooner or later.
I am so over this show coming back at this point especially with the plot for season two. As far as i’m concerned, let the show rest in peace.
Great news! If you are talking animated series and base that with what they recently said @ power con 2013. They started brainstorming a potential series in 2000 and decided to put together a team in 2005/2006 according to Larry Kenney for a 2011 series release.
But hopefully a new or rebooted series will not take that long. BTW, I thought CN had something in the works for the franchise…just as folks were speculating the 2011 series being cancelled according to toy news international!

Sorry team not new here nor ignorant. i should have been clear though we might see something on action figures not too sure on season though. Although it can possibly be combined into a movie.
I wouldn’t mind a continuation of the 8 inch classics line. and forget the 6 inch classics ever existed. My best friend got me the 8 inch Tygra last Christmas bless her heart. lol
Holy krap! I just saw the spoilers via facebook. Geeze, if they couldn’t make you hate Tcats more, you have Sslithe mourning over his wife’s grave because of Lynx-O killing her and the hatchlings.
This new series makes the Tcats look so freaking evil! I’m glad it never made a second season. In the original series, the Tcats were good and fought to save everyone, lessons were learned, they lived by the code of Thundera, this new series killed all of that, you want to hate the Thunderians in the new show.
Seriously, why Pumyra? Why make her such an evil jerk, they give her a tragic story and yet in the end, Tygra kills her? In the old series, she was a freaking nurse, someone to heal the injured person, someone to sustain life and in this new show, she wants to kill? Ugh, I just don’t get it.
I always wanted a re-boot but this is waaaay too off of the original.

I posted a comment at Dan Norton’s deviantart page, describing how i felt about the ideas they had for Season 2 (as respectively as i could, mind you) and he posted this reply to it:
"I totally understand your concerns on what we were planning. Bear in mind however, you aren’t getting the context to how you’d be getting this information and where it lays in the storyline, so it would be hard to delineate for anyone just how it was going to play. This is why I wanted to deliver the reveals in a podcast where I could go step by step. What I put out there in the panel at Power Con was just the tip of the ice burg. Quite frankly, nobody wants to hear about characters getting killed off, but for what the pay off was and in our restrictions to how many people we can animate at a time, we just couldn’t have a final battle with 100 characters running around. We’d have to give resolution to characters that are fitting in a war setting of epic proportions. Oh and trust me when I say, there is a happy ending.
As a artist and writer, especially when you’re contributing to something you love, it’s hard to always get a story just the way you want it. That is multiplied by a thousand when you’re working collaboratively. Multiply again to deal with public opinion and desire. I have been a ThunderCats fan since I was 12 and it compelled me to become not only an artist but to fight for over a decade to bring it out of the closet to get the love it deserves. Some may believe I was not the man for the job, I will argue that point till I’m dead. Partially because of the 20 some years that professionals of all kinds attempted to bring it back and part due to the dedication I gave to this property. I’m not saying the team and I didn’t make some mistakes, but I’m sure nobody could have done it better."
Can anyone summarize what he’s trying to say here, because i’m sure i understand what he’s saying, not fully at any rate.
