Yes I’m a bit disappointed! I’m hoping that the reveals keep coming over the weekend. I’m wondering if the posting is somehow automatic - so far they both hit Facebook at exactly 3pm EST.

I gotta say I have a feeling suddenly that the exclusive might even be the Driller!! I think that since that article came out last week of the Bandai toyline, that news site might be in the know of what Matty is offering, and some clues in his article says that he’s been keeping the article back for a month (because they had too much news…) - but I’m just thinking that it is only a tactic to get things going for the Mattel line. Plus revealing Driller there has me all giddy for what could have been. Just think how awesome this rare item will be when it is the SDCC exclusive. It will make me broke for the rest of the year!!!

I doubt it. I’d imagine a jaga or liono as a secondary character would not get people interested in the new line–ie non subscribers.

I agree that Driller would be a really odd choice. But the MOTUC SDCC Exclusive was King Greyskull and he was hardly a well known character so you never know.

I doubt we’ll find out today. Still a few more days to go with the original 8-figure line up that was already announced. I think we might only start finding out from Friday onwards what the TC exclusive will be.

I wish they would just reveal the exclusive. There is so many cool SDCC exclusives coming out this will just add to the wish list…if it is something good.

Too much speculation but the Driller is today one of the most rare and expensive figures from the original LJN toy line…

Yep. especially since the other was a rubbish battery transforming robot. The illustration on the box was nice…sadly the toy didn’t look as good. That was on my first trip to England.

I have to agree - we won’t be seeing the TC exclusive until Friday at the soonest. Shame they didn’t bother making the TC exclusive a part of the USA Today story that they ran! Seems like they’d have liked the extra attention it would’ve brought.

Is Cars merchandise still selling? Like selling enough that there are collectors wanting an exclusive.
I don’t understand it. There hasn’t been a Cars movie for at least a few years. They nixed MOTUC, when the line is still selling…:00

I guess the ‘‘it’s Mattel’’ saying applies here as usual. 
I don’t think MOTUC is selling enough to continue the line anymore. I heard the Snake Mountain that was shown a couple months ago has been cancelled.
Technically “MOTUC” is done. as they completed that line but have continued with Club Grayskull and Club Filmation. Same figures, just a name change basically. Those are still going strong. There has been a number of production delays, therefore a lot of speculation about Snake Mountain. But nothing has been confirmed or even acknowledged about cancelling Snake Mountain.
