I’m a little curious about some ebay auctions I recently bid on. The seller has all these MOC Thundercats toys that are C9/C10 condition but he/she has zero feedback and all other bidders are listed as private, meaning you can’t see who actually bid on the auctions. At the same time, all sales are final. So is this a scam? Its starting to dawn on me that it just might be but at the same time everyone has to start somewhere so am I just over-thinking this or ???. Very curious as to what everyone here thinks? Here are the links to some of the auctions. Really appreciate any feedback.
Hard to tell but I wouldnt feel too safe bidding on a high priced item with a zero feedback seller.
If youre looking for certain figures why dont you shot me an email, Ive recently sold some of my things for very good prices and you wont have to worry about you not receiving your stuff. All that he was selling I have as well

What worries me about those auctions is they are from the same area code as that friend of ours who has the entire thread about him and loves new aliases. Figures did look beautiful though and went for a good price, I like to see that for the hobby.
I’ve been scammed maybe 7 or 8 times in 10 years on the internet, one was foreign but every other time it’s been from New York or New Jersey. I loved the show Sopranos but I also had a bitterness watching knowing that I could have sent them a couple of hundred dollars…maybe a few of those nights at the real-life Bing was on my dime!
Then again I’ve probably made a hundred successful deals from that region to be fair, not saying everyone there is a con artist or thief. If there was no New Jersey there wouldn’t be Bruce Springsteen who is my fav artist ever. New York on the other hand…lol JK
This guy is from Brooklyn not the Bronx. I know the guy your talking about and he lives in the Bronx. Two different boroughs but not too far from each other.
One of them seems to be more educated than the other…LOL. If you won and sent payment make sure you do it with a credit card that way if anything happens you are covered via chargeback. For some reason I dont have a good feeling about the auctions, good luck if youre the winner
I’ve decided to hold off payment until the guy gets some feedback. As much as I’d like to believe him, I just can’t take the risk, I’d rather have my feedback take a small plunge. I just won one auction so I’m waiting to see if anyone else who bid and won “actually” received their items and if so left any feedback. I’ll know in a couple of days.
If you are referring to Dan Cotto :lionomad: aka dancot70, justcotto, wildcard8080, or thundercatsloverpart2, :lionomad: I don’t think these are the same people.
In My Ebay preferences I save Thundercats searches and they are emailed to me daily. When I get the listing, there are pictures with them and I have been able to pick his out every time with the lousy ass camera he has for picture taking. That and given the proper grammar in this other’s guy’s auctions make me think they are different.
I would, however, still be weary.
