I was also looking all around for this last week, and found nothing. I went to Spirit Halloween, Halloween Express, Walmart, and Target. They had nothing for “Thundercats”, so I went with Amazon and ordered one Sword of Omens. It should be at my house by the end of this week, and once it is here…I’ll take some pictures.
If you want to know which place I ordered from on Amazon, I can let you know if you want to order one as well.

Well, the sword arrived today…even though it said October 15th - October 18th. Go figure.
I am going to shrink down the images, and then post links to them in a few minutes…but in the meantime I have a few questions for those of you who do custom work on figures.
What would I need to use to remove the paint from this sword? It has a crappy paint job (as you will see), so I wanted to paint it myself. Also, what type of paint is good for plastic like this. Finally, I have read on forums (forget if it was from here or from somewhere else) that some people say that a white blade is better? So what type of color scheme should the sword have for a more professional look to the original Sword of Omens?
I only have the new version of the Sword of Omens to compare against this Halloween Costume accessory, so you will see that in a few pictures. I don’t own the original Sword from the 80’s, or I would have used that as well.

Also, the Halloween Sword is 25 and 1/2 Inches. The new version of the Sword of Omens is about 23 Inches in length.
