I’m not saying he actually goes for it as he has bigger concerns, but he does have to know that it’s even a possibility that a girl could ever genuinely be interested in him. He needs to know that he’s worth fighting for on a more personal level rather than just an ideological one. He needs to know that he can even be loved before he can ever love again. Learning that maybe not everything is his fault probably wouldn’t hurt either.

I was thinking…if DN ever tells us what would have happened in Season 2, would it be ok to write it as a fanfic? Personally i’m hoping Pumyra can be redeemed and all…and i just saw that on my dash chique…wish we could get a translation of it.
He would more than likely do the second season in a comic book from if it never airs. Or at lest a direct to DVD release would be nice to.

Many women are attracted to emotional vulnerability and right now Lion-O is about as vulnerable as he can get. It’s also an unfortunate truth in both reality and fiction that what people want the most is quite often the one thing they can’t have. A recurring theme next season may be him trying to distance himself from any romantic involvement only for it to keep smacking him right in the face, he may as well douse himself in pheromones and just walk through… well, wherever ladies hang out on Third Earth.
I agree. I think there will be other female characters introduced who have that sort of heroic crush on him but he’ll just ignore it, not necessarily because he wants to still be with Pumyra, but because he doesn’t want to be romantically involved with anyone, at least for a good amount of time.
