Reverse Episode Synopses

I remember coming across this humorous website which changed the narrative of popular movies using reverse chronology. In simple terms, what would be the story of the movie if it was watched backwards?

Example: Jaws (1975): “The story of a shark who throws-up humans until they open the beach.”

As you can see the results are quite hilarious and often the roles of the good and bad guys appear to switch. So I thought I’d do a reverse synopsis of one of the ThunderCats episode.

Mongor: “The story of a goat-man who frees the ThunderCats from various traps and in return they trap him in a fiery underground tomb”.

Give it a shot! Pick your favourite episode and put a spin on it!

OK:

Lord Of The Snows
: the Thundercats return a meteor to Hook Mountain, the other are scared away by the Mutants, who then leave Lion-O to knock the Snowman down a crevasse. When he climbs up, Snowman sends him packing. Lion-O returns to the Lair to find they have regained power, and the meteor escapes Third Earth’s atmosphere.

Nice one, Liam! No wonder the Snowman was cross!

Song of the Petalars - An old Petalar named Emrick pulls a Benjamin Button and turns into an acorn within 24 hours, while Lion-O forgets a valuable lesson about living life to the fullest.

Dr. Dometone: Eccentric climate change denialist convinces ThunderCats to thwart foreign mineralogist’s sea-level-lowering efforts.

Hahaha. Really liked the Benjamin Button comparison!

And we though that the ThunderCats cared about the environment!

I also got another one:

Safari Joe: A khaki wearing guy escapes from Cats Lair, rescues Panthro, Tygra, Cheetara, and the Kittens before escaping in his spaceship with his robot assistant.

Not that different to Mongor, in a way.

The Demolisher: A canine warrior arrives on Third Earth, is lectured to on causes by Lion-O, gets mad and fights him, then he gets bored and flies off where he finds Mumm-Ra who laughs at him for losing to Lion-O, prompting him to have a fight with him too, before he again gets bored and leaves Third Earth.

So, not that different in reverse really!
