Hey guys, a few of you know me from the .WS site, but if not, I’ll give you the deal here.
Ive taken on the task of replacing some VERY hard to find Thundercats Items, first up is the Light Cap for the Sword of Omens. Mine is a much more durable plastic and works actually better than the original. Now not all swords aged the same, so the rings are adjustable to bend outward with a simple screw driver to adjust to yours. I test every single cap before it leaves and will NOT sell anything that doesnt work. Thats just how I am.
They are each hand made so they may have a small imperfection here and there, but I assure you its nothing that wouldnt do the Sword justice. Im a fanatic about this stuff! Larry Kenney himself has even commented on my work and liked it!! :liono
So if anyone here is iterested in a cap, yes I am selling them on ebay at 30+ shipping, but I would offer them here to you for 25 plus shipping, as I am here to help my fellow cats out. (To anyone that thinks im price gouging, I assure you, with the cost of materials and time it takes to make them, I am making nothing)
Also I have in my plans 1:1 custom Panthro nunchucks with real metal chains, and more repro parts (all different in some way) to help your figures out. Please let me know what parts you all are looking for in the future!!
LOL! Thats the sword im gunna make a full custom out of, and I didnt wanna break out my real one, im too lazy That whole sword is gunna be overhauled! Thank you for the kind words though! Much apperciated!

I actually saw your post over at WS but haven’t commented yet - very impressive work! You seem to have a great eye for detail and I think it’s great that you’re working on these rare pieces, not just for yourself but to help other fans who might have things missing.
WOW! That Light cap looks identical to the factory made one. You are a very talented craftsman, “kregermeister” How do you do it? I mean I’ve seen many people making custom stuf out of clay or wax but never durable plastic. You must have some really heavy-duty equipment. Eagerly awaiting to see your future creations.
Osbert - Thank you for the kind words!! I try my best to keep everything as authentic as possible but still change a few things here and there so they can never be sold off as original. Its really a shame how Star Wars fans scamed each other that way. My biggest goal to to complete everyones collections at a fraction of the costs, its just a shame I have to charge a bit more on the first few to even try and cover the costs of the molding’s of the items.
Wilycub - Also Thank you so much! Each item is done completely by hand. No equipment at all! Each one takes OVER 2 hours worth of work between sanding, filling, priming, sanding more, putting in the electronics, testing them then painting them, and that doesnt even include molding times!! So really when you think about it, im only making pennys out of it lol! Its just the fun of helping out my fellow fans!!
Anyone have any suggestions or requests? I was talking about some killer stands for the vintage line but the numbers were crazy! Primarily I could have done a Onxy brick stand with bugs and creatures on it, with metal waist holders for the mutants, and the thundercats logo or cat’s lair floor for the good guys. But sadly to make the bases and the metal would have been 10-15 a figure :eek:
However if I had a Mad Bubbler I coulda made one for all of us lol! I still need to get my hands on a Lynx-O sheild!

BenGali’s Hammer would be the greatest thing on earth for me, since we both seem to create thundercat weapons lol! If and When I get around to that, I will be THRILLED. But I really need to start small considering the costs, hopefully the figure replica weapons sell well enough to fund the larger items!!
