I’ve got some questions as I’m a little confused with how I should be going at the redesign.
Neil mentioned in the recent meeting that Kyle wanted a certain “uniformity” with the site (something I agree with) and in saying that, wanted the main page for each section to look the same. That being said, is there a finalized version of a section main page that I can look at as a sample? I had originally made a main page for each section, but seeing as I don’t want to continue in a different direction, I’d like to get this particular part finished. I know Neil said Kyle wanted it to be similar to the toy main page, but is that the finalized layout is what I’d like to know.
With Chris and Kyle taking over the Cartoon section, should I just not bother adding any extra pages to the section? I had gathered some names for the Behind the Scenes subsection, but I was wondering whether I should just let Kyle and Chris continue?
Also regarding the Cartoon section, will there be a major revamp of the subsections? I’m not sure how or where I need to start and stop with the redesign.
I just need a little clarification on how things are going to be.
To be honest, Manny, some of the answers to these questions are a little bit up-in-the-air at the moment - why I’ve been trying to organise a Team Meeting dedicated to talking about the Cartoon Section (see my thread further down this Board) is to try and iron out and clarify some of these very issues! I’m hopeful that after such a Team Meeting, everybody involved in working on the Cartoon Section will have a clear idea of what’s happening, what things should look like, and who’s working on what.
Unfortunately, so far only Neil has let me know when he is available, but at least even if only he, Kyle & I are able to meet up and talk about this stuff, we should be able to provide you with some clear answers, Manny! I’m really sorry for any confusion that might exist at the moment, my friend!
im back from Rome now (which was amazing by the way)… anyway; I agree with Chris that these issues were to be ironed out during a team meeting which as he says…only Neil has acknowledged so far. If we can get this meeting underway we can resolve this and move forward.
Welcome back, Kyle! As usual I completely agree with everything you’re saying - if we could get the team meeting sorted, hopefully we’d be able to get some clarity on these issues!
