Rainbow Lion-O variation

While hunting for new treasures, I came across a Series 2 Rainbow that is very different from the more common (Right figure) Series 2. Notice how dark the left figures head is? also, notice that the left figure is packed with the series 2 catalog while the right has the series 3. Most of the Rainbow Lion-O’s i have seen look like the right one, just curious what the folks from Europe find more difficult to locate.

The one on the left is what we had in Greece back in the day. My original Lion-O has unusually darker hair and the catalogue included was always the purple one for all figures.

Also note that no figures from series 1 & 3 were ever released in Greece.

Just about to post here, logged in, read your pm..:slight_smile: The dark hair one is pretty common over here, I think I have 12 of that version (loose offcourse) We diddn’t get alot of Rainbow stuff in Holland, but they did pop up.

When I saw that title, I thought I was going to come in here to find a Lion-O figure with rainbow hair. And I was seeing images of Starlight from Rainbow Brite. :smiley:
