I just have a few wonderings. First off, (I was just at the figure archive… v e r y nice btw…) WHY are Lynx~O’s hands covered in blood, and his eyes and appearance demonic? Were there different versions of the red Lion~O glove? Can you ‘pose’ Hachiman’s hands, or are they frozen in that grip position? (Looks rather lame I bet without his sword…) I have a cardback here that show’s SnowMan and his accessories are TOTALLY different from the ones I have seen…whats the deal? How many vehicles were made for this line?

I noticed the same a while back…LJN made many changes to he different weapons/accesories, i have never seen an actual shield like the one pictured on the back of that card, most likely it does not exist anymore
Thanks Manny. Man, thats a bummer about Hachiman…ah well. As to Lynx~O’s hands, you honestly cant see what I MEAN though man? His skin/decor LOOKS like his hands were drenched in BLOOD up his forearm! :shock: I wonder if that ornate Snowman shield exists anywhere in prototype form? Is it true that the “rat’s eyes” version of Ratar~O’s sais are more valued? I was told last night that thats not true…that the painted ones are just non-US releases. Do Lion~O and Jaga use the EXACT same sword?
the snowman shield might exist somewhere as a prototype but who knows I not sure about the ratar-o eyes thing never heard of this or are you on about his daggers then yes I think one of them is more rare not sure which one. Lion-o and jaga use the same sword but if its a orange one then that is for Lion-o but also the red sword is also for lion-o too
Probably. Most likely in a private collectors hands just like the Feliner prototypes.
I’d say there really isn’t much in it between the silver sias and the black rats eyes sias value wise as they are about the same. I know that the black rats eye sias pop up more often that the silver ones do. Both were released in the US and both releases had the same assortment number so there was no way of telling which version a toy store would have got in the 80’s and I have no idea which version appeared first.

It’s the exact same sculpt, however early releases of Jaga might have got a slightly more darker red handled sword, but towards the end of the line Lion-o and Jaga were pretty much getting the same swords. So in turn you might find a Lion-o with a more darker red sword the same as with some Jaga’s. You cannot really guarantee whether a loose sword came with Lion-o or Jaga as they pretty much got mixed in by the end of the toyline. The only way you know for certain is if you open up a carded Jaga.
Man that ‘Feliner’ thing looks coooooool…Reminds me of like a Tonka truck…and BIG too. That was my only gripe with the Thundertank…too s m a l l. :?

I realize that the latter series heroes are pretty rare, but how MUCH should I give for them? I’m a “loose, played-with” collector, so keeping that in mind. The two that really catch my eye are Jaga (is he Lion~O’s dad, or?..like an ‘Obi Wan’ type of character?) and Lynx~O. What should I pay for a loose, weaponless Lynx~O and Jaga, with average play ware?
Where can I get episodes without having to buy a big DVD set? I dont really care if they are taped from tv…like a bunch on a VHS tape…in fact I prefer that.
Are either of the “Captains” very rare? I like the one with the face that looks like melting wax…he’s cool.
