Pumyra's sling question

Hi everybody,

I am from Belgium and a big Thundercats fan ever since I first saw the series on TV back in the 80’s .
Recently I bought a couple of loose figures for a few bucks. This small lot included a pumyra without its sling. Now I want to make a custom sling, but can anyone post a decent close-up picture of how the rope is attached to the red plastic? I already made a “prototype” but I don’t think it’s quite right.

ps: I was wondering if anyone knows the story about the claw colour difference between both ma-mutts?

The claw detail is a first to me…notice also how the eyes are different and the mouth is painted in red

The Ma-Mutt is indeed a variation :slight_smile:

The black clawed version is from a European Mumm-Ra with Ravage and the one with the white claws is the regular version that comes with the US carded Mumm-Ra and Ravage :wink:

I always jokingly refer to Pumyra’s sling as her purse. :smiley:

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I have just begun attempting to make a repo sling for my Pumyra figure. I was wondering if anyone who has a legitimate one might be able to give me some dimensions with which to work from?

For the red plastic piece, the prototypes I currently am working on are 2 1/2" in length, the width of the portion where the string attaches is approx 3/8" radius and 1/2" long before it merges into a 4" radius for the rounded portion of the sling. Does this sound approx right?
