Cheetara just did basically everything in her B plot ONE EPISODE AGO. Why are people saying she doesn’t do anything?
Also, she was not teasing Lion-O. That’s a really problematic assertion. She was kind, supportive, and friendly in line with her assignment and her position as the last cleric. Automatically interpreting that as romantic/sexual interest just because Lion-O was attracted to her is a reflection of really gross societal standards about the way women are “supposed” to act.

Sadly you can say this all day long and be absolutely right but some people still don’t understand.
I think tons of people just get sucked into our theories and start believing them to be fact.

sarcasm aside i still think it’s to much characters already.
Not every character has to be featured in every episode. I think even if they add Lynx-O and Bengali they could pull it off.
Actually it doesn’t have anything to do with how she was portrayed in the OS. I was a fan of OS Tygra and was really worried I wouldn’t like him this time around, and it turned out that I love him as well.
On the other hand, I liekd OS Pumyra but didn’t really care about her, so I was really excited about her when I read she was going to be more of a badass, but it turned out I don’t like her… what can I do?
Yes, that helps in my feelings towards her, even when I know it’s not her fault. I wouldn’t miss her if that means the others will be brought to the front. They already got little screen time when Lion-o was alone, now with Pumyra they hardly do a thing, at leats in the last ep.
Does not have to but i would like to see what they are all doing most of the time. With probably more coming in, what if we dont see some characters for several episodes? Villians or good guys, that’s just to much.
Cause of this i’m thinking of dropping the show, they dont give enough screentime for everybody.
That’s my point. What has Tygra and Cheetara really DONE the last couple of episodes? Or ANYONE besides Lion-O and Pumyra. As far back as the trials not much has happen for anyone except Lion-O and the story as a whole.
I wouldn’t drop the show just because not every character is in every episode. I don’t really think we’ll be seeing any other cats soon so there’s no need to fret about it.
Let’s get this clear: You are not me, which makes those statements pointless. Also even if they are in a episode they really dont get something to do. Before it was mostly Lion-O and instead of giving some of the then current cast a bigger role they introduce a new character to take the lead instead. More trouble for the others to do something worthwhile.
The problem is there is so many characters from both the good and the bad side and they are still giving just a few of them lots of screen time. I dont mind episodes like “The Duelist and the Drifter” or “Ramlak Rising” or perhaps “Song of the Petalars”. Aside from the Ramlak those were great episodes, but if those characters introduced there are not gonna be seen from again then what’s the point in making them appear? The time “they took” from the show could have been spent on the actual characters that are main characters.
Also i’m not stupid enough to not enjoy some sidestories and such. The point still is that most of them feels like “filler” episodes. At when the show started some i knew even dropped the show after episode 4 cause they thought it was gonna be a “new cool character of the week” show. Which i was also afraid of, i for one dont regret my choice in watching all the episodes so far as they are great. I just dont think they make use of their current cast before they introduce new ones. If those episodes were “removed” and would be episodes that gave Cheetara, Panthro, Tygra more screentime (or even the villians) that would show us more of the world and story of the whole show as a whole i would be glad. The Duelist was cool, but not cool enough to take time from the other characters.
Same thing gores with the new generals. They are cool, awesome. But up until that point none of the current villians really did much other then Grune, which also was not seen that often.
Let’s see, what have other characters done since the Trials…
Native Son - This episode focused on Tygra. Lion-O was there, sure, but he was playing second fiddle.
Survival of the Fittest - Lion-O didn’t even appear. Total win for the “secondary characters”.
The Pit - We got to see some backstory for Panthro which included his friendship with Dobo. The Kittens also started a separate story arc.
Curse of Ratilla - Cheetara and Tygra retrieved the Sword of Plundarr. Panthro was there with Lion-O and Pumyra.
Birth of the Blades - This is the only episode you have a point on, everyone except for Lion-O and Pumyra sat this one out.
So the show hasn’t dropped the focus of the other characters since the Trials. They are still around, getting what I’d call their usual amount of screen time for the series.
Exactly. In fact, the trials put a lot of focus on the secondary characters, especially Tygra.
They are still not doing much. The Pit is the example of them mixing stuff way to much. A little walking here, fetching some item there. Very good use of them. Pumyra has done much thought which is still good.
And Tygra and Cheetara getting the sword? Sure they got screentime but god was it not that interesting to watch. Panthro in that episode really did not do anything.
It really comes down to this: What does the other main characters do?
I suggest you watch every episode back to back. It makes it so much more enjoyable.

EDIT: I’m not saying the show is bad at all. I just dont think they are using all the characters as much as they could before they introduce new ones. With that i was thinking about dropping it if something does not change soon.
Nah, I’ve watched every episode at least 4 times and I just marathoned them this weekend. I’m just sad that you are losing faith in this show.
Not to be rude but what fun could come out by watching every episode 4 times? I’ve only watched it 3 times cause of friends, and that’s whole runs. With kids around here i’ve probably seen every episode 6 times and those are “watchings” i’ve not done cause of myself.
Why does Panthro get no points for his sense of humor? 
He gets points with me.
Panthro is cool, more so cause of his resemblance with that Cowboy Bebop character
