prequel/sequel,?

I have some kinda popular TC videos on Youtube. You know, those 85 vs 11 clips when Mumm-Ra transforms, Lion-o does his “ho” and what not.

Recently many have come forth and said "hey this is a prequel or a sequel, not a reboot. Why do people think this? Is these the “slow fans” who do like Thundercats but have missed everything until now (some even noticed it first with my videos) and thinks Claudius is the old Lion-o or something? It’s very annoying when i know this is not true, people upvote him and downvote me when i just tell them “It is a REBOOT guys, this show has NOTHING storywise connected with the original”.

I even see this on Wikipedia where it says “A continuation/reboot of the original 1980s TV series of the same name” and when i press edit it also says “new-thundercats-more-sequel-than-reboot”. I dont wanna be an asshole but are people really that stupid? I think they even advertised it as a Reboot and not a follow up. (I now edited it on wikipedia so it’s “rigtht”)

I almost feel like doing a video for all my TC subs just to explain how it is not a sequal or prequal.

Yes, people are really that stupid. If they weren’t then there wouldn’t be any reality tv.

The 1985 and 2011 shows have different continuities.

It’s just a case of fans trying to put things together in their head that really never had anything to do with each other. It happens in every fanbase.

Wow…um…too much sun for some of those guys. I don’t want to be politically incorrect as to what the people’s intelligence level are since I don’t want to hurt other people’s feelings who may be lurking, so I’ll let y’all use your telepathic mind powers on what is subtley being said about the prequel/sequel perception.
