Hey gang, Kyle has uploaded the podcast we recorded (it still needs some editing work)
However we are both concerned about the sound level on it. Can folks download it and see what the sound quality is like for them? For me it’s quite low 
Both Kyle and I agree that if that is the case a re-recording might be beneficial so we can improve on sound as well as the flow of the conversation so less editing will be involved.
So can folks have a listen and then tell us what you think?

Yeah, the sound quality is really low for me as well, and there’s also that strange echoing stuff that Kyle told us about going on - there’s a lot less background noise than I thought there would be, but on the flip side poor MannyC is virtually inaudible!
I might be wrong, but I would’ve thought that there ought to be some way to boost the overall volume level - however, IMO this could risk making your voice too loud, Neil, as I would have said that on this recording yours is the one voice that’s just about OK in terms of volume level, and definitely louder than the other three voices…
As much as I hate the idea of having to do all that again, to create a professional-sounding end product I have a su****ion that a re-recording may be in order - although, at least now we have an “unaired pilot” if nothing else!

I guess I made my point…Im virtually inaudible and the echoing is definitely heard throughout. I 'd say lets re-do it. Can I suggest recording a short version of say 2-3 minutes just to test the sound so that this doesnt happen again. Im thinking I may have to get a new headset if this doesnt work out.
For once I was hoping it was a problem at my end

Aww…you guys did all that work for nothing…that totally sucks! So are you guys going to be redoing the podcast again? May be I can join in this time around…just don’t make it Easter Sunday, I have so many things planned that day I have no idea if I’m going to be able to survive!

Hey guys, I had a go at editing the podcast and while there are still some audio problems, I believe it sounds better especially when MannyC speaks. It ended up being 1 hour and 13 minutes so it was still pretty long. Lastly, I’m gonna put up a disclaimer in the beginning to warn about the audio stuff, but I put it on my ipod and it sounds a whole lot better with headphones.

Not quite the completed version, but close. I might add the intro music and exit music, but I’m not sure yet…I wanted to concentrate on editing everything first.

Just listening to this now - the only further edit I might be tempted to make that I’ve spotted is from 19:22 to 19:39 (or thereabouts), basically where Neil says he’d take Larry Kenney’s word over Ain’t It Cool News’ word on the subject of the new TCats series - firstly from the perspective of not angering them, secondly because the concept artwork drawn by LeSean that has subsequently emerged reveals that Ain’t It Cool News were actually right in that the rock band concept was at least considered by WB for a ThunderCats revival!
Just to add too, in case there was any confusion, the times I posted above refer to the edited (rather than original) version of the podcast.
INSERT EDIT: Actually, listening to it, I might be tempted to make some further edits to that section of the podcast as well if possible - I’d leave MannyC mentioning that the site is Ain’t It Cool News, but I might be tempted to make an edit from there into me saying “Guys, can I just give a heads-up” (or whatever I say) at 20:54 - again, for the reasons stated above. What do you guys think?
