Just as the title says I am desperatly looking for Thundercats toy pics made in Argentina by a company called Antex (these will help out the foreign section). Apparantly 2 companies made Thundercats in Argentina Playful and Antex. What I dont know is if the Antex Thundercats were 6’’ figures or minis or if they were both as I have never seen any (I just found out about this company the other day). I havent been able to find any pics of them on the internet so hopefully someone on these boards can help.
Also on a side note if anyone has any of the pics of Thundercats made by Tonka (at least I think it was I forgot) in Asia (Korea or China area) these would be a big help also. I know less on this one than on the Antex figs
Thanks for the help. Unfortunately I know already about the minis made by Papeleria Francesa. P.F only made minis, while I am not sure size figs Antex made. In fact I got the the only info about Antex from the toyarchive. If they made minis thats 2 companies that made minis then, and if they made full size then thats 2 companies that made them.
I can’t help here either, as this is literally (pardon the pun) foreign territory to me. I’ve never even heard of Antex until reading this thread!
I hope it turns out they only made the minis, because truth be told I’ve never really followed those and won’t feel too bad about not knowing about them being made by Antex.
However if they did indeed make full sized figures, I’ll be wondering why I never knew about them! :oops:
hi everyone, Im new here, from Argentina. Here a company named Antex Andina S.A. got the licence by LJN back in the 80`s. Almost the hole collection was produced, quality specification, etc.
Now a day its a bit hard to find them, at auctions pages: mercadolibre.com.ar or deremate.com.ar u could find some of these toys. But sometimes its easiest to find them in local old toy stores, that didnt even know what collection they have.
As usually its a hard work to do if u want to complete a collection.

oo, i forget, Andex Andina S.A. made both series, the full size and the mini here in Argentina, and the company closed severel years ago, so dont have any web page, or info.

Welcome to the boards juanplb. Thanks for the info on antex. Do you have any pics of them. Were they differernt at all from the LJN releases. This is crazy because that is now 2 companies in Argentina that made 6 inch figs (Playful and Antex) and 2 for the minis (Antex and Papleria Francesa which had 2 different cards).
I know the webpage you posted as I have gotten a few Playful Thundercats moc from him. My spanish is not so good anymore and I looked but could not find the page with the Antex info on it, if you could copy and paste me the exact page that would be great.

hey guys. Sorry for the confution, as long as I know( i could be wrong) Antex Andina owned PalyFull and Francesa, so they were sub companies. The fact is the 2 toy lines I was refering are those u mentioned. Hope not to cpmplicated everything.
