Submit your best photo of one of your toys in a realistic backdrop, maybe in a photo studio for a portrait… use your creative energy to take your best shot. Just post your image in this thread to be considered for top honours.
This is not about taking a good product style shot, it’s not about taking a photo of your displayed collection. The idea is to bring your toy(s) to life through photography.
There may or may not be a prize involved, will see if we can rustle something up but its in the spirit of ‘just for fun’

Remeber the duel between Grune and Lion-o at the Churning Rocks! I wanted to capture this moment in the platform when Grune had cornered Lion-o prior to breaking apart the sword of omens. I spook it up a little bit by shooting the picture in the dark and having as a fond a fir tree! I shed the light on purpose on Lion-o and Grune’s mace, i thing it looks more dynamic that way! Hope you like.
I almost forgot about this. One thought came to mind as soon as I saw the contest.
After a long day of battling the evil Mutants, Panthro decides to take a scenic route back to the lair only to stumble on a place that leaves him speechless. After decades of believing he was responsible for keeping all of the ThunderCats weapons and vehicles in working condition, he finds a toy junk yard full of ThunderCat and Mutant vehicle parts.

Had I known the June 11 deadline was not final, I would have re-shot my entry. If submissions can be made through this weekend, I will re-shoot it in better light.
P.S. Endorx, where did you get a Tygra with no battle-matic lever?
That’ll teach me to not notice part of a sentence, lol. I saw the lightning and background part and somehow missed the Tygra’s back part. Good job on the photoshow work there.
