What is this about? It is stated on the blog. Troll or what is this?
The Thunder Thursday articles pretty much confirm that Panthro is not dead. I think he’s having a sarcastic reaction to some of the comments regarding Panthro. A lot of people are going off on a hinge and wining about him being dead.
SPOILERISH
Panthro has a voice actor who has done a few interviews as well. Sure, I suppose he could still be “dead” but his VA’s presence pretty much confirms he’ll appear in some shape or form. Eventually.
Yeah the ‘Panthro is really dead’ gag is just something the staff is doing as a joke.
Who is the voice actor going to be?
I checked the description of the next episode via my FIOS TV subscription, and
it says “Panthro and Thundertank” will be in the next episode.
They’re having fun. From the Thundercats’ standpoint, Panthro is dead. Saying anything to the contrary would be a spoiler. 
It’s totally them having fun at us. Dan Norton has even said in interviews that Panthro is his favorite character. You’re not gonna kill off your fave character before the show even starts. lol
I would say Panthro is not dead. But in the end, Grune will probably wish he was. 
The plot summary for Old Friends on TVguide.com says "The team search for Thundrillium and learn more about Panthro and Grune’s past. "

That and why would they bother to set up Pathro being such a good friend to Claudis?
They’re setting Pathro up to be the father figure of this merry band. God, bless him. He doesn’t know he’s inheriting two teenagers and two kittens yet.
You just know Pathro is going to be over his head and sinking fast with the kids too.
The’re just trolling all the…“special people” who keep insisting and asking his dead.

I’d think it’s highly likely that a higher-resolution version of this clip will start making its way to news sites within a couple of days, not sure how these guys have got it so early, but fair play to them!

What a stupid question, they must have seen panthro before as he had a place at the table during the festivities in episode 1.
He was in shadow. They probably couldn’t see him clearly.
Though I do wonder how he got his Nunchucks back.
And Love the new Tank! Kinda reminded me a little of the Tumbler from Batman Begins.
The only downpart is that we have already seen how episode 3 ends now with that clip.
