The chain of Loyalty…in fact the Treasure in general and the planet reforming were really stupid. There is so much more they could have done on Third Earth.
It always bothered me the “top speed limit” thing when it wsa mentioned in the trials. Before and after that ep, Cheetara seemed to have no problem with running bigger distances at her top speed.
Think of “Secret of the Ice King”: she told Pantrho and Tygra that they should be making their way to Hook Mountain while she goes to CatsLair as she can catch them up soon. Are Hook Mountain and CatsLair only 2 miles away? I doubt it… same with every other location in Third Earth to which Cheetara got first due to her speed.

To be fair, we don’t know she was running at her absolute top speed, she could have just been running at her top sustainable speed.
Another goof that mixes up both facts we have discussed lately: the TCs being naked/dressed up and the Chain of Loyalty.
In “Chain of Loyalty”, the TCs in the chain’s medallions are already dressed with their Third earth’s clothes (look carefully at Panthro’s image). If the chain was forged in Thudenra, where the TCs had no need to wear clothes and walked naked by here and there, how is it that they appeared with clothes in it?
I love “ThunderCats” despite the many plotholes that it had.
The chain of Loyalty thing could have made sense in a way that I’m sure they didn’t quite intend. A bit more follow through would have made it okay-ish (A phrase I feel that I shall edit and re-use many an occasions when I’m talking about Old TC stuff). Rarely do we see a downside to the Thundercat’s magic sword and stuff. Anywho, the almighty gotta fix plot holes head cannon dictates to me the Treasure is some kind of magical contract that makes the sword work and if it’s futzed with it has an adverse magical effect on the people with whom there is a contract… There, now it doesn’t seem so shallow as though they are only friends because magic makes them friends as if they have no real love… Kinda… Not really.
Take my head cannon with a grain of salt, it also says that they were naked in the beginning because Jaga was trying to do his little “big important new clothes ceremony” just when the planet decides to explode and they had to flee then and there without any clothes on. Kinda sucks the drama out of it.
All these years I thought he was naked. Not in an obsessive way, I just thought he was naked like the others in Exodus. You are indeed correct as I see the thick stripe going down his arm is not there but short horizontal stripes like Tygra.
Although I will say there are some dark lines around the top of Cheetara, Lion-O, Panthro and the kittens legs in Exodus so maybe there is some skin tight clothing of some description.
