Old vs New The Thundertank.

I love the old one more.

Isn’t there pretty much 2 versions of the new Thundertank now? The one Panthro was initially introduced with that is more like the classic Thundertank, and the one that was beefed up by the Berbils for a second time when they were giving Panthro robot arms.

Personally, I like the more classical one but I can see them needing a bigger one since they are pretty much always on the move now. On top of that, they brought in Pumyra so that gets me thinking that Bengali and Lynx-O will be joining in as well so they’ll definately need the extra space that the classic thundertank can’t provide as a mobile headquarters.

I have to say I like the new one better. The old one was cool and all, but it was a brick. The new one is, IMO, way more visually interesting and seems to be a bit more powerful as well.

Though I gotta say I miss the old steering wheel. Odd thing to miss, I know, but still…

I agree with Balgus. The new one is just cooler.

Even without the Sabertank attachment the new Thundertank would rip the old one apart. It’s bigger, beefier, and badder in almost every way.

I’m just desperate for a diagram of the Sabertank’s layout.

I like the NS tank much better than the OS one. I remember thinking as a kid that the OS tank made no sense, it was like a Mazda Miata with armor and claws. It had no practicality, it was just made to look cool.

The NS (upgraded) tank makes a lot more sense, and just looks bad-assed. It’s like an APC, a main battle tank, a mobile HQ and an artillery battery all packed into one vehicle.

It’s a dilemma i can’t take sides on. Each one has its own merits and can’t say the old or the new is better. Both great ,the way i see it;)

The 1985 and 2011 ThunderTanks are pretty special.

Well the old one is a vehicle because they have a home and the new one you can call a mobile home. They can live at the Tower of Omens.

I am going to have to give the slight edge to the OS Thundertank…
