Panthro kicking butt all ep so far, worth the wait

This episode is Going in the right direction so far History, Lessons, Action, More than one character gets lines.
Totally agree, very much like the premiere, everyone’s getting in there (well except for the kittens this time, but they’ve done well already)
Wow, so Grune released Mumm-ra.
Mumm-Ra’s Sarcophagus reminds me of something from Stargate. Very Cool.

A very good episode. The driller was exceptionally effective. Mummra’s past is illuminated on slightly. Panthro gets the last word in. Again.

Only part of the ep I was disapointed in was still no reaction from Tygra about Grune. Though I guess this was a Panthro centric ep and he sure did show a reaction but still.

OS outakes?
Well at least the episode did answer one of my questions… how long had Panthro and Grune been gone, if they left the day of that sparring contest, Lion-O and Tygra were probably 8-9 years old and when Grune came back, they were in their later teens.
I just wonder how long Panthro and Grune were gone before they met up with Mumm-Ra, must have been enough time for Mumm-Ra to get with the Lizards and arm them.

This entire episode was excellent. I loved the history, and Panthro kicking butt.
Nice to see them bringing back the drill dude from the original series.
Panthro and Grune leaving Thundera reminded me of Cecil and Kain leaving Baron in Final Fantasy IV (funny, considering Kain was a traitor of sorts [yeah yeah, mind control was involved 
] ).

Yes! I’m glad I wasn’t the only one that noticed the nod to the old outakes!
That episode was just as good as I hoped it’d be! Aside from answering questions about Grune and Panthro and what happened, we also got to find out that Lynx-O was a general, and the fun mentions of the samoflange! I really enjoyed all the flashback sequences.
And the episode raised a few more questions about Mumm-Ra, too. Is his pyramid a space ship? Perhaps what he did in the distant past is the reason the Thundercats have sworn off of technology?
The OS outtakes were some profanity ridden takes the OS voice actors had that came out on the net a few years back, pretty hilarious.

Finally a bit of backstory and enough questions remain f.e. how did panthro survive the fall and how did Slithe get into contact with Grune/Mumm-ra.
Oh and I want more cameos from OS characters! Loved the Driller. As I thought he is probably a just a machine with no conscience built by probably mumm-ra. Hope he will be fixed for another mission!
Really good episode although it did not answer how Panthro learned about technology but there are enough episodes for that.
The only thing I feel a little dissapointed was Driller, they destroyed him very easily, but at least that helped for Panthro to start trusting Lion-o as his king.
The best scene must be when Lion-o asks Pantho to let him drive the Thundertank, “Not a chance, my king” 
Another excellent episode. I really loved the mentions of the “samoflange” and Lynx-O. Still no origin story for the Thundertank, but it’s nice to see Panthro still has the same relationship with the tank. The Driller was pretty cool, but I think that’s the last we’ll see of him. I like that Grune is responsible for releasing Mumm-Ra from his tomb, just makes me hate him more. I really liked the flashback stuff and can’t wait to see more history, like Mumm-Ra getting imprisoned.
I think the episode would have benefitted from a cut away to the Wily kittens and Snarf pushing buttons in the Thundertank.
It was a little disappointing for Tygra and Lion-O to say nothing to Grune, but it is understandable that Panthro needed the majority of the screentime this week.
I guess Tygra can use his invisibility without the whip now, that’s handy.
I hope in the future they don’t run into Grune and Mumm-Ra on a regular basis and they are reduced to the typical “I’ll get you next time! Haha!” villains. Every encounter with them should be epic, not just another day.
Good point I was waiting for that too, I wonder if they’ll do it when Tygra finally confronts everything that’s happened (the part where he egged on Lion-O to address Panthro was funny). Still, the Panthro flashbacks were great. It felt like there was a fantastic atmosphere and pacing not only throughout the ep but in those flashbacks too and the dialogue/music, really sharply done and particularly gripping, I was sucked in again this week just like last week.
Didn’t actually expect that I figured something had happened where they let him out by mistake but Grune actually went all the way and was reeled in by Mumm-Ra and did it all, full on traitor.
Denied on driving the Thundertank lol
