I think that would be cool. In the OS, Hachiman believed Lion-O to be evil and had to fight him. If they did this with the NS, when Lion-O shows up, he may have to fight Hachiman.
It could also be guarded by the Warrior Maidens. And if it is in possession of Mumm-Rana, Warrior Maidens would make more sense. Mumm-Rana is female, hence she has Warrior Maidens as her people who aid her in protecting the book of omens.
They would have to make the Warrior Maidens more fierce then, if they pretend them to keep the book from every form of evil.
I thought they were fierce in the original, but I imgaine with the revamp making the new series darker, the warrior maidens would be even fiercer than before. It would be interesting if they changed them from being human to something else. Maybe the Warrior Maidens are a secluded, elite ThunderCat force of female ThunderCat warriors.
Might be. By “fiercer” I meant to say that I can’t imagine them protecting the book from Mumm-Ra, Grune, the Mutants and all their technology with bows and arrows only.
Ah. I would guess that because Mumm-Ra is all technology, that if the book is being guarded by Mumm-Rana, that either she also has technology or else her magic is more powerful than technology and it could be used to essentially redeem the idea that they have to fight with technology. Ok, that really doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.
So my guess would be if Mumm-Rana is guarding the book - she too has technology in which the Warrior Maidens also have and use this technology. I still like the idea of the Warrior Maidens being a tribe of female ThunderCats. Maybe Mumm-Rana is a mummified ThunderCat herself.
The other thing I wanted to make mention of regarding this episode - they left the kids behind. Yet last week when they ran to their deaths, they brought the kids along. Either Lion-O is growing up and thinking about their safety all of a sudden or he was just worried that their presence on this sensitive mission might serve to annoy Panthro or they’re showing some inconsistency.
I’d rather the Warrior Maidens stay human. I see no reason why every species on the planet has to be an anthromorphic animal. Gonna make Safari Joe, Mandora, Hachiman, and all the other humans into animals too? Sorry, but I don’t like that Idea at all.
As for not leaving the kittens behind in the last episode…it was either fight or stay in the burning woods. It was loose/loose for them. Fighting was the better option.
They can leave those others as humans. I just really like the idea of the Warrior Maidens being ThunderCats. Could create some interesting dynamics for our heroes.
If I did make changes, Safari Joe would be a Gorilla. Mandora would be a bird of some sort - like a hawk or a falcon. That way she could fly without needing a flying motorcycle, but if she keeps the flying motorcycle, it could be that since she a bird species, that they developed technology to help them fly without getting tired. Hachiman would be a panda. I’m thinking Kung-Fu Panda here, sorry.
I suppose, or they could have sent the kids running in the other direction like they would have if Lion-O didn’t change his mind to lead the others on a suicide mission.
I think it was safer to leave Sanrf and kittens in the Thundertank than taking them with them.
It is an interesting theory to have the warrior maidens turned into Thunderian females, but not guarding the book.
Here’s another idea: like in the OS, Willa is their queen, Nayda her sister, and Pumyra general of their army, who Willay orders to join the TCs in their quest for the book.
But I don’t want every character turned into an animal. Safari Joe, if he ever appears, must remain human… Mandora, Mumm-Rana and Hachiman, I wouldn’t miss them if they don’t show up at all 
They needed their most powerful warriors (two children armed with fruit and their vicious attack pet) to guard the tank against lizards while they were away.
So far they’ve wanted to keep every character instantly recognizable even through the redesigns (except Claudus), I don’t think they’ll change them too drastically.
Claudus did remain the same species though - a ThunderCat.
Bloom - I thought it looked like they left the kids and Snarf in a box. Is that the same idea as leaving them in a play-pen? 
TR - that is an interesting idea with them ordering Pumyra to help the TC’s in their quest. Another interesting thought would be if they kept the Warrior Maidens as humans and that when Pumyra was only a child, if something happened that left her alone in the wilderness, maybe her parents were killed. The warrior maidens find the young Thunderian child alone and defenseless, so they take her in, give her food and shelter and train her to be, of course, a warrior maiden. Ooh, I’m liking this idea.
Question Do You Guys Think This Cartoon Series Will Have A Third Earth Iam Very Concern.. I Like The New Series But I Think My 80s Thundercats Are Better.. Its Not The Same.. As For The Snarf I Think Thats A Bust He Does Not Talk..Very Upset About That..
