Or maybe Grune built fake ones, or fake ones were given to him by Mumm-Ra.
Agreed on both, this has the makings of a fantastic episode, exciting and atmospheric clips. 
I think with the return of the lizards it’s getting back to the pilot’s darkness and moody coloring.
agreed about the Petalars, and I agree the pilot was considerably much darker:D - but personally I don’t consider it kiddified as long as it has a plot, and villains XD Like REAL villains. unlike some of the new stuff out there where the plot is basically ‘oh my goodness it’s so n’ so’s birthday tomorrow i need to organize a party!’

Did Tygra look shocked and… horrified to anyone else when Lion-O got shot in the back? I expected him to say something along the lines of “No” or “Not him, too.” Poor guy.
Thta’s why I say they’re not caring of his character that much. The guy has presumably lost his parents. He’s seen his father get killed, and by the one he looked up the most nothing less, and then seees his brother getting shot, and we get no reaction from him at all. not, as you say, at least a “No!”. Nothing, like if he didn’t care at all.
We’re kind of judging stuff based on under 3 minutes of teasers that may or may not be cut up a little. Keep that in mind.
Is it me or do the kittens seem much cleaner and neater in this episode? And was Kat wearing armor last week? If not it might explain why that mutant was able to get a lucky shot at Tygra.
Shocked silence is still a reaction, even if it isn’t the one you want.
There is a difference between not caring about the character and not wanting to dwell on something children don’t exactly understand or want to see. I’m sure there will be plenty of time down the line for character development, but they can’t stop every time someone is attacked to show how the others feel about it.
LOL! I’m sorry, but if Tygra said, “Not him, too” at that moment, it would be the cheesiest thing ever!
Now, if Tygra’s delayed response was thinking his brother had just been killed and that’s why he was standing there opened mouthed, then I’ll be happy that they’re not just making his character to be some kind of wallflower. For him to stand there like that and not say a word if he thought they’d just killed Lion-O would actually be better than him saying something. It would fit with his personality, what we’ve seen so far of it anyway. And I would imagine that if the lizards hadn’t attacked him and Cheetara as quickly as they did, that Tygra would have snapped to his senses and in a rush of anger, fought them.

I like the angles in this episode, giving us a look at the ThunderCats from the Petalars perspective.
They could be trying to imply everything happened at the same time too.
In Cartoons it’s tough to do and still keep the action followable.
And yup watching the clip a couple of times, Tygra looks like he’s favoring the side the mutants hit or else that’s the worst drawn tackle.
75-100 years might seem the same way to a giant tortoise. Does it to you?

I know that (I’m a psychologist after all ;)), but even if you’re a reserved, introverted person, a first reaction (not necessarily verbal), which is more physiological than emotional, shows up.
