I just saw the EW clip where Panthro roars in on the Thundertank.
I hope Tygra remembers that he can turn invisible too in this one…unless he’s completely dependent on his apparently missing whip.
If I were to make a guess, I’d guess that “The ThunderCats have been our friends for as long as we can remember” may be due to the fact that they are petals. Flowers last only a short time. If the ThunderCats spend long enough with the Petalars, they may have seen a generation come and go. The guy in the second clip who made that comment could be the child who was all over Lion-O in the first clip. We may see months pass during the course of the next episode or however long thes Petalars live.

Me too. I’m already hating that stupid gun. I want to see the whip.
Honestly, the gun is the ultimate sign of Tygra being a complete different character from the OS. IMO, Tygra without a whip is no Tygra at all, plain and simple.
Oh, and in the beginning of the first clip where they’re all in a circle singing - makes me think of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.

I’m sure this episode will have a more serious tone than the last one with all the “fear of death” theme.
Anyway, Panthro will appear in this one so it will be awesome at last the whole team will be together.
I hope that too, but if he can only do that with the whip hopefully Pantho would be able to make him a new one.
Thanks for images and vids. The upcoming episode looks to be much more interesting than the last. But all in all, this world has me intrigued, especially concerning its diverse inhabitants.

I think the hero Petalar sounds a little like Tygra. I wonder if Matthew Mercer voiced him.
Is it just me or does Tygra seem a little slow to respond to danger? I thought that in Ramlak and I think this teaser also looks that way. It’s like he just stands there with a vacant expression like he’s too surprised to respond.
Hmm… I don’t know.
It seemed like they got the jump on everyone.
That and the odds are Tygra’s gonna be nursing some broken ribs from that hit. You heard the crack when he got hit. Ouch.
I would think the armor should have protected him better. That whoever hit him would be hurting after that.
Maybe.
Though I’m more curious to know what happened to Tygra in the first clip. He was standing next to Lion-O when they first encountered the Peddlers and then he’s suddenly gone.
The Petalars are kind of cool-looking, as their overall look reminds me of something out of Hayao Miyazaki film (which I guess was what they were going for).
Something tells me that this will ultimately be a very poignant and sad episode. Death is always a difficult subject to discuss with children, especially in cartoons. Which is why so few of them do it. But if they can handle it in an intelligent and sensitive fashion, my hat will be off to them.
And oh yeah, the new Thundertank is positively badass!
