OK, those of you familiar with “Sherlock”, the modernised version of the adventures of the most famous sleuth of all time, will be all too aware that the star of the show has a name that a songwriter can employ to make an acceptable pseudo-rhyme with Thundercats. Also, if you list the names of Sherlock’s two creators, two stars, and title character, you get a passable catchphrase:
Moffat - Gatiss - Freeman - Cumberbatch - HOLMES!
Yeah, silly. Almost as silly as the adaption of the theme song:
Cumberbatch’s Sherlock Holmes
Is the greatest sleuth
Nothing ever slows him down
In his quest for truth
And I’ll stop “singing” there. I’ve probably been silly enough already . . .
