Interesting little list. Do you agree with the choices? Have any other character that you think should be on the list? Share your views ![]()

Interesting list. If I were making a list of characters able to lift Thor’s hammer I would have to include:
Shazam/Captain Marvel
Isis
Hercules
He-Man
Lion-O
Bravestarr
Chuck Norris ![]()
HAHAHAHAHAH!
Of course!! How could they NOT include Chuck Norris in that list?? Chuck wouldn’t actually even lift the hammer. He would just grab it with one hand and then push the earth down with his foot! :roflmao
When I read the title of the article, I just knew Superman would have to be mentioned. While I was surprised at some of the other choices like Neo, I enjoyed reading them all. He-Man should have most definitely been mentioned, Lion-O too. ![]()
Neo was an odd one…but I never got the Matrix films. The first was okay but the others…
I wonder who would win in a fight, Thor or Shazam?
Speaking of He-man, in an episode of Stranger Things I was watching a character is flicking channels on a TV and it shows the ‘I have the power’ scene in the intro and later it shows a Man-At-Arms figure in a characters bedroom. Some other things I noticed was a Dark Crystal poster and a Millennium Falcon which was used in one scene.
Stranger Things is a pretty good series. It makes it even better it’s set in the 80s!
I finished episode 5 last night so just a couple more to go.
I won’t spoil anything for you, but I am looking forward to another season!
I finished the season last night and it was very good.
I think that Jaga could lift Mjolnir because it seems to be worthy of the power of Thor, you must be self-sacrificing and particular about when you fight and the reasons while still being willing to fight and defend. Pretty much anyone who has the exact opposite character traits of Loki should be able to at least shift the hammer, therefore be worthy to harness the power of Thor. Steve Rogers was able to move Mjolnir on a dare during the Age of Ultron after party but was unable to pick it up because his motivation was wrong. It wasn’t until he was fighting Thanos and his army to defend the Universe, not just Earth or his own interests that he was able to summon Mjolnir and harness its’ powers. Don’t laugh, but if you think about it, Snarf could actually stand a pretty good chance at heaving Thor’s hammer around too. All snarfs are supposedly devoid of evil, but that isn’t enough, Snarf also has proven in the canon that when push comes to shove he can fight and is a force to be reckoned with the proper motivation, which is the defense of his friends and family.
Another non-Marvel character that might also be worthy is Goliath from Disney’s Gargoyles, even Hudson of the same show. (I don’t think Gargoyles counts as Marvel, even though there was a comic done by them of course, now that Disney owns Marvel are Gargoyles in the marvel Universe now?)
