Well that’s good news. I’m glad we have somewhat of an “inside man” for the toyline. Now if only we could get one for the series…
That would be great but from my experience, anyone working from CN or WB, from the showrunners to the designers would be only speculating. Unless it is officially green lighted, only the very top execs would know if it is cancelled or not.
The reason the show is probably on hiatus right now is because CN hasn’t yet decided if it will continue. If CN really liked the show, the designers would have been working on it right now instead of taking this break. Studio 4c would need to start now if the show were to come back sometime in the fall.
If it’s true that the toyline is doing okay, or at least Bandai is still willing to support it, I wonder why Amazon says it’s been discontinued. This is all so confusing, seems like all the info is contradicting each other.
On one hand, we’re told that Cartoon Network is skeptical about the show because of low ratings and toy sales, and we know it hasn’t been renewed, but the ratings that have been recorded seem to be about the same as the other action programs airing on CN, and now Bandai seem to be happy with toy sales, so…I don’t know what’s going on. All I know is that CN hasn’t announced renewal yet.
CN is the root of it. They really haven’t released why it may be cancelled, so what we know is pretty much all speculations when it comes to the show. In fact, we’re not really sure why they even think so.
